I was in relationship with Ms Glass for around 10 years, the first year, we were ok. I loved her very much, but it just was never right. We became "business partners" in her words.

Then we moved and were stuck together, after 1 year of dating. Years later, because of her bitterness, she lied to a courtroom, and other people, that I abused her 10 years ago, 8 years before our relationship ended. Her story? A door hit her foot. Believe it or not. And she lost in court when the appellate judge threw out the silly judgment that a door accidentally hitting her foot was abuse. In her own evidence, the next day she got flowers and apologies so profuse she got sick of it. Ms Glass also lost in Jefferson County when she filed a complaint against a highly respected and skilled worker, who now has a powerful job with the state. Last I heard, over 2 years ago, ms glass was at a department of transportation.

I really feel sorry for her. I believe her ex before me is right. She's a bitter woman.

When I think of Ms Glass, it makes me me so sad for her. She had a good heart, but emotional pain seemed to overwhelm her. We moved across the country, but it did not work. Anger and, in my humble opinion, abuse of alcohol sunk her ship. I wanted us to take a break, because I felt drinking every day was unhealthy, but it angered her. When I stopped drinking with her to hopefully persuade her too to be healthy, she left the relationship pretty fast. It's a very sad situation.

She's still so bitter than she drives to to the town where I live, years later, from Seattle, and says bad things about me to friends, trying to ruin my beautiful and healthy relationship I am in now.

Over two years since she's seen me or heard from me, in ANY way, shape or form. My girl swears she's still in love with me. Nobody can hold anger that long she says. I told her she doesn't know ms glass. And to think my girl heard this silliness while we are trying for a baby, and doing exceedingly well.

You'd think she'd have gone on with her life, and just let the past go. I simply feel sorry for a person filled with this much bitterness. My friend, who she recently bombarded with lies about me, told me, and said she'd tell ms glass to leave her out of it next time. Ironically, that's the VERY girl who set me up with my current love, the love of my life, and the most beautiful person inside and our imaginable. Who interestingly also came to court to support me at the appeals court, where ms glass lost. Ms glass did not show up. The judge noticed my girl's support.

I have not even seen Ms Glass for over 2 years, or thought about her at all, in any way, in over a year, and yet, here she is, years later, angry.

and trying to hurt people. There has been literally ZERO contact since August 20, 2014. Going on 2 and a half years. And going on a year and a half since I cleared my name, defeating her in court. And it's been over a year since she entered my mind even. Then she comes to my town and tries to defame me.

It's simply very sad. She was a good person with a lot of potential. I pray for her often that she can find peace.

I truly wish her the best, and that she can move on, finally. And find peace in her heart. Our relationship could have worked, if we would have worked on it. Life goes on.

Book by Alfred Uhry

Music and Lyrics by Jason Robert Brown

Co-conceived by Harold Prince

Musical Direction by Steven Landau

Choreographed by Karma Camp

Directed by Stephen Rayne

September 23-October 30, 2011

The Tony Award-winning musical drama Parade features the true story of Leo Frank’s trial and lynching in early 20th-century Atlanta. Ostracized for his faith and Northern heritage, Jewish factory manager Leo Frank is accused of murdering a teenaged factory girl the day of the annual Confederate Memorial Day parade. Alfred Uhry’s award-winning book and Jason Robert Brown’s rousing, colorful and haunting score illuminate a circus of conflicting accounts, false testimony and mishandled evidence in a town reeling with social and racial tension. Isolated from the world, Leo develops a new and deeper love for his wife, who tirelessly crusades for his freedom. Stephen Rayne (The Heavens Are Hung In Black, Sabrina Fair) directs this compelling and provocative tale of justice miscarried, revealing a country at odds with its declarations of equality. Tony-Award nominee Euan Morton stars as Leo Frank.

Parade is a co-production with Theater J and is presented in association with the Anti-Defamation League and Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington. Part of the Lincoln Legacy Project, a five-year effort to create a dialogue in our nation’s capital around the issues of tolerance, equality and acceptance.

Article where Marjan Jurjevic, a well known, anti-Croatian Yugoslav in Australia defames Josip Cuk, Secretary of the Australian Croatian Association

Sculptor: Micha Ullaman, 1995

Quoting Heinrich Heine: “Where one burns books, it is only a prelude; in the end one also burns people.” The sentence was written in 1820. In 1933 all over Germany national socialist students flocked together to burn books which by the Nazi ideology were regarded as “un-german”.On May 10th, 1933 they did likewise on Bebelplatz in the heart of Berlin. Along with the burning of the books went a ban on publishing and sale of the books and defamation and other more serious hardship for the writers.

Among them Ernest Hemingway, Maxim Gorki, Sigmund Freud, Albert Einstein, Heinrich and Klaus Mann, Kurt Tucholsky, Franz Kafka and also – Heinrich Heine. It wasn’t long after the book-burning that his proficy was being fulfilled…

In the middle of Bebelplatz visitors nowadays will find a window in the ground. It gives way to a room filled with shelves, bookshelves, all empty. An empty library symbolizing the culture and knowledge lost in a barbaric time.

PUBLICPRIVATE

The high visibility of the self in the 21st Century every-day, at times masked with fabrication, at others genuinely exposed, willfully sheds boundaries between what is submitted for public approval and reserved for personal reflection. On a mass scale, average citizens are compelled toward the digital strip-tease of their private selves or others – all the more comfortable with surveillance, the mass marketing of the photo op, the public defamation of rivals, the fierce cultural cling to childhood obsessions, the landscape portrait of a vacation experience, self personalization in all its forms – true or false. And during days of such exposition, what is concealed? Unspoken? Implied? How does this align with competing impulses within the artist practice? Self portraiture, windows into the intimate lives of self or others, the evolution of the ‘photo bomb’, digital spectatorship, jealous landscape photography, public confessional, criminal intent? Or does art subsist always on Wilde’s ethos of ultimately concealing the artist no matter what? Exposing only ‘beautiful things’ – concept, process, form. And then what are these pretenses at self-exposure, and where do artist’s hide, so to speak, in plain view? Under what false legacies, muddled academicisms, hall-of-mirrors conceits.

Restrictions on freedom of expression in South Sudan are having a “chilling effect” and “further shrinking the space for debate and dissent” in the conflict-affected country, according to a new UN report.

The report finds that genuine reconciliation and lasting peace will only be achieved if the people of the east African nation are free and safe to express their opinions.

“It is vital that the voices of all the people of South Sudan are heard so that genuine, inclusive and durable peace can be achieved,” said the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the UN Mission in South Sudan, David Shearer. “All parties to the conflict must respect people’s right to freedom of expression regardless of their ethnicity, beliefs or political views.”

Co-authored by UNMISS and the UN Human Rights Office, the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression in South Sudan identifies 60 verified incidents which violate the legitimate right to freedom of expression of 102 victims, including 17 women, in the period from July 2016 to December 2017.

Incidents include the killing of two people, the arbitrary arrest and detention of 58 others, 16 people dismissed from their jobs, the closure or suspension of three media houses, censorship of newspaper articles, and the blocking of websites. Those targeted were seen to be critical of the Government, tarnishing the country’s reputation, or dealing with issues deemed sensitive.

Journalists are often not free to cover stories in South Sudan, particularly in relation to the conflict that has raged across the country for almost five years. They regularly experience censorship, harassment, and threats to their life.

“This is why it’s important, first of all, to have the ceasefire because when you are in a situation of insecurity, when people are fighting on a daily basis, nobody will be able to freely share their views, including journalists who will be afraid to raise questions or publish their stories,” said UNMISS Human Rights Director, Eugene Nindorera.

The report found that Government security forces were responsible for two-thirds of the verified cases. It stated that the National Security Service’s broad powers of surveillance, arrest and detention, including the embedding of officers in some newspaper printing houses, had led to a growing climate of self-censorship.

There are also ongoing incidents of hate speech as well as examples of allegations of hate speech being used as an excuse to censor free speech.

“Unfortunately hate speech is a reality in South Sudan. Inflammatory language continues to target individuals and communities based on their ethnicity, perceived beliefs or political views,” said Eugene Nindorera. “But Government institutions and actors have also often invoked hate speech as the basis for imposing restrictions such as censorship of newspaper articles critical of the Government that did not appear to meet the threshold of incitement to violence, hostility or discrimination.”

The report acknowledges efforts by the Government, civil society, and other stakeholders to promote an inclusive and safe environment for freedom of expression and democratic dialogue, including the release of political activists and journalists from prolonged and arbitrary detention.

After five years of ongoing conflict in South Sudan, reconciliation and peace processes are underway internally and locally. Given the importance of these initiatives, it is vital that civil society actors, journalists and others can operate freely.

“We accept that these are extraordinary circumstances in South Sudan but, at the same time, if we are looking to foster peace and the ability for people to be involved in a free and democratic society then freedom of expression must be at the cornerstone of that,” said David Shearer.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said that South Sudan’s conflict, with widespread human rights violations and abuses committed by all parties, had inflicted untold suffering on millions.

“Freedom of opinion and expression are not luxuries but essential to bring about peace and development, and to build a resilient and participative society,” he said.

The report makes a number of recommendations, including:

•Amending legislation to decriminalize defamation and ensure that powers given to security forces do not infringe on the legitimate right to freedom of expression;

•Ensuring freedom of expression violations are promptly investigated and prosecuted;

•Strengthening mechanisms to combat hate speech;

•Supporting the training of journalists and state agencies;

•Ensuring the Media Authority is fully operational, independent and adequately resourced.

What is the liability of Internet operators (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) for violations by users? Is there an obligation – for publishers and bloggers – to remove defamatory comments? And if the news is fake, who is responsible for it? What are the liabilities in the case of the sharing of videos or photos that depict third parties?

JFK said this, not Nixon!

Long time Nixon advisor Bruce Herschensohn spoke at length about some of the myths / lies / nonsense surrounding the Nixon legacy. For example, the "legend" that Nixon was far to the right of the political "mainstream".

One example, from a meeting he attended with Nixon:

Shortly after losing the presidential election to JFK in 1961, Nixon was invited to the White House to discuss some of the challenges JFK faced. Nixon emphasized that the President did not have nearly enough time to do "everything" himself. JFK agreed with Nixon that "foreign affairs" was the president's responsibilty and that "domestic affairs" needed to be left almost entirely to Congress.

Neither Nixon nor Kennedy was hostile or indifferent to the minimum wage, it just was not an issue that the President should be obsessing over.

Swastikas were ancient symbols. However, the symbol has acquired a bad reputation due to ignorant people who do not know that the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSGWP or Nazis) did not call their symbol a "swastika." NSGWP members called their symbol a hakenkreuz (hooked cross) and they used it to represent crossed S-letters for their socialism under their National Socialist German Workers Party. See the work of the noted symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). American socialists (e.g. Edward Bellamy, Francis Bellamy and the Theosophical Society) influenced German socialists in the use of the swastika to represent socialism. The ignorance about the "swastika" (hakenkreuz) was predicted long ago when Professor Max Muller discouraged Dr. Heinrich Schliemann in the careless use of the term "swastika" and referred to such ignorant people as "the vulgus profanum." The same people are ignorant of the fact that German national socialists did NOT refer to themselves as "nazis." NSGWP members referred to themselves as "socialists" (hence their use of the of the hakenkreuz to represent crossed S-letters for their "socialism"). Such people continue to defame the "swastika" symbol by their ignorance of the hakenkreuz and other symbols, rituals, meaning and terminology under German national socialists. For example, there is widespread ignorance of the fact that the German socialist's stiff-armed salute (and robotic chanting in unison) came from American socialists (Francis Bellamy, cousin of Edward Bellamy), and that the stiff-armed salute had been used in the USA's Pledge of Allegiance for about 3 decades before German socialists borrowed it. German socialists defamed the American salute as they defamed the "swastika," yet only because of ignorant people who still do not know the history. The stiff-armed salute developed because the early Pledge of Allegiance began with a military salute that was then extended outward to point at the flag (it was not an "ancient Roman salute" -another debunked myth repeated by the ignorant vulgus profanum). The above are part of the discoveries by Dr Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets").

Essay: “Ann Coulter Screws Up Again” at t.co/IfJD3YVG3o.

Blunders!

How can someone who is so intelligent, so gifted, so quick-witted, so linguistically adroit, and so accomplished, say and do so many things that are so foolish, so often, and so consistently?

Desperate for both attention and acclaim, and to reinvigorate her career and stature, Coulter’s antics only serve to further erode her already tarnished credibility, exacerbate her vastly diminished books sales, and enervate her flagging speaking engagements.

Coulter grows increasingly irrelevant as she becomes more and more self-absorbed. As a consequence, her arrogance damages herself, Christianity, Conservatism, and the nation.

After updating my anti-spam software, one doesn't have to see these types of comments on my blog unless I'm trying to comment on the depravity of current culture. It's not that it's pornographic... It's just that it's defaming a place where sincerity is trying to post an entry.

By the way, who is Jane, and what is zoofiliabrazil?
