EXPLORE: #169
It's that time again! The December 2009 Diary Project begins today. This year's theme is Shadows or Reflections. One picture a day for the month of December.
It's a fun group with very nice (and very creative) people from all over the globe. Plus, it's a nice way to challenge yourself - but only for one month - that's the part I like. ;-)
You should check it out!
I love to go there pretending to be a tourist checking out all the interesting shops along the streets, chatting with people from all over the world in pubs over a pint of Guinness... (The town of Banff, 130km from Calgary where I live, the mountain resort in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada)

Thanks the generosity of my family I have been able to enjoy a winter break in Alicante in Spain. This a major city with a host of attractions for a photographer - hope you enjoy the postcards!
A section of the Great Bird Screen.
'The Great Bird Screen at Brean has been built to prevent disturbance to an important high tide roost site on the Severn Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest, which is just beyond the screen.'

One of the drive-by shots from a car, trying out more in manual mode in Panasonic Lumix G5. It's hard to use its manual mode, but it's doable.
Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx
It's been a little while since I posted anything on here, and it is so easy to suddenly find yourself with a huge backlog of pictures that need sorting, so I thought I had best get started again.
Quite a few pictures from before Christmas here. A cold night outside so I wore my lovely warm woolly purple dress.
