Pâle septembre,

comme il est loin,

le temps du ciel sans cendres

il serait temps de s'entendre

sur le nombre de jours qui

jonchent le sol

d'octobre

Mâle si tendre

au debut de novembre

devint sourd aux avances de l'amour

mais quel mal me prit

Pale september

like it's so far

the sky without ashes

it was time for learning

under the number of days until

the sun covered

october

A tender man

and the beginning of november

deaf with advances of love

but which evils did I undertake

to get excited about him?

Dirty december

the sky in its weight

did you know that the salt statues

have stopped waiting for you?

Pale september

did you hear the death knell I rang?

I love you forever

I'm spreading love

The seasons pass but gracefully

we pretend that they resemble what they were

But who is this man who fell from the tower?

But who is this man who fell from the sky?

But who is this man who fell in love?

Pale september

like it's so far away

the sky without ashes

it was time for learning

Third night in a row at the same spot. Every shot is so different. This night was brutally windy, but as a bonus I got to meet flickr star Jim Patterson. The lighting on this night was not as even so contrast was a lot more difficult to control with slide film. I also forgot my filter pouch, so I didn't have my grads to help.

Just a few photos from New Year's Eve that I haven't posted before.

I always get pyjamas on Christmas Eve from my parents, and these are what I got! Mum and I baked cookies and dad helped us cut the cookies out into Christmassy shapes. They are very yummy! And I'm very excited- tomorrow is Christmas Day!

24 Dec 12, Christmas Eve in rural Cambodia. A field lies next to Glory International Mission.

35 You have heard others say, “Be patient; we have four more months to wait until the crops are ready for the harvest.” I say, take a closer look and you will see that the fields are ripe and ready for the harvest. 36 The harvester is collecting his pay, harvesting fruit ripe for eternal life. So even now, he and the sower are celebrating their fortune. 37 The saying may be old, but it is true: “One person sows, and another reaps.” John 4: 35-37

A grand opening ceremony of the first freeway in Southern California. The Arroyo Seco Parkway eventually connected to the 110. This was a monumental achievement which was inspired by the German Autobahn.

I'm assuming in the lead car, ('41 Cadillac) resides then Governor of CA, Culbert Olson along with other state and city officials.

They proceed to Fair Oaks overpass for the ribbon cutting.

It's more like a snapshot. But i liked the lights here. There were two sources of light in the subway. The rather bright white light and the red light indicating that the doors were closing.

Both lights are being reflected by Thomas skin here. But it doesnt reach his eyes that are hidden in the shade. Hence he looks rather unfriendly.

It also looks quite cinematic, so he would certainly be the murderer or at least the bad guy in that film =)
