Eastern Bluebirds are still evident in Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Mid December. Every winter, small flocks of bluebirds remain through the season in scattered areas all over southern Ontario.

Monday's minor but pretty snowfall was a pleasant surprise. The unexpected sunset was an even bigger one.

In December the days are very short. The sun goes down around 2.30 pm. This Christmas time is cold, but sunny in Helsinki.
These houses are built after the war for the soldiers who came back from the war. Nowadays this area is rather popular because it is green and quiet and not far from the centre of Helsinki.

Technically the same set as the last of the November pictures, I missed these because it had gone midnight by the time I took them, so the timestamp on them shows them as December photos. D'oh!

I took this on the 6th of December with a macro extension tube. About 8 days later, San Antonio had an overnight low of about 16 degrees making this my last rose of 2022. It’s not often that our temperatures fall into the teens or low 20’s.
