Cold, frosty and the warming sun - ideal first day of December. Today, the second, is full of cloud - at least I don't have to break the ice on the bird bath!
Catch you later dear friends :)x and see you soon sis xx

Each year I ask for many different things
But now I know what my heart wants you to bring
So please just fall in love with me this Christmas
There's nothing else that I would need this Christmas
Won't be wrapped under the tree
I want something that lasts forever
So kiss me on this cold December night
Winter is not really a favourite time of the year. Despite this, I take my gloves on and run to spots to find ice crystals, snow flakes just to capture all the fantastic details like this one.
All these small cracks are filled with interesting details and reflections from the world behind and the closer I get the more interesting it becomes.
I didn't have the best Christmas since I got a tiny fever on Eve but despite this I did enjoy some games, films, gifts and good food.
Have a beautiful Tuesday dear Flickr friends.

(Sq Crop).. A lovely bloom surviving the cold weather..
Just popping in to thank you for your visit & comments over the last week.. appreciated..
Was watching the sky when taking breaks from work ... then checked the cloud deck on the weather maps online about an hour before sunset. Given how they were moving and how it was clear to the west, there was a good chance of some pretty light and colors on the clouds.
Called my Dad to see if the river was smooth (there was little wind for the second half of the day here in Baltimore). He said it was pretty smooth at that time.
So grabbed the dogs, camera, and tripod and headed down there arriving about 10 minute before sunset. This was the first capture made out on the pier with the mirror like river surface. It was glorious to see, and knew that the next 15 minutes or so would be busy running about taking various compositions.
This time of year the sun is there at the end of the pier when it sets ... a fun spot for it to be to play around with compositions.
Meanwhile the new puppy and our older schnoodle stayed on the deck with my dad. The puppy kept calling out to me as I moved about several of the waterfront properties. Luckily the puppy has grown enough to not be able to fit between the deck rails anymore ;)
