I was very surprised to see these 'shrooms during this week. Way out of season.

Wandering on a deserted beach at dusk.

Time is a construct, and dates are arbitrary, but I'm still glad to see this year end. May 2021 bring better days for all of us, everywhere. Thanks for all the beauty and kindness that you share here, friends. It helps. All the best...

Seventy-four graduates were awarded bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees by Archabbot Martin de Porres Bartel, O.S.B., chancellor, and Father Paul R. Taylor, O.S.B., president, in a traditional public ceremony that recognized the completion of their degree studies at the 17th annual December commencement ceremony of Saint Vincent College on Saturday, Dec. 18, in the Performing Arts Center.

Graduates were presented by Reverend Philip M. Kanfush, interim vice president for academic affairs and academic dean, while Evan Frazier, Chief Executive Officer of the Advanced Leadership Institute, was the commencement address speaker. Benediction was given by Reverend Maximilian Maxwell, O.S.B., Director of Campus Ministry.

A small stream produces fog on a nice sunny December day

Took a break from work this afternoon because there was nice afternoon light and stepped outside and sent Droney Balony up.

A nice afternoon break.

Our Daily Challenge 16--21 December : Timing is everything.

It is still mild and there is plenty to see to in the garden but the last day or two have been very changeable. It's a case of nipping out and doing something quickly. Dog walks are more risky, though. We set out in sunshine yesterday and ended up rather damp!

Thirteenth today and the wreaths on the door.

Hanging some garland and to do there is more.

When will they finish? They've been at it since dawn!

It's that time again! The December 2009 Diary Project begins today. This year's theme is Shadows or Reflections. One picture a day for the month of December.

It's a fun group with very nice (and very creative) people from all over the globe. Plus, it's a nice way to challenge yourself - but only for one month - that's the part I like. ;-)

You should check it out!
