Just a low-key night in.
Christmas! The very word brings joy to our hearts. No matter how we may dread the rush, the long Christmas lists for gifts and cards to be bought and given - when Christmas Day comes there is still the same warm feeling we had as children, the same warmth that enfolds our hearts and our homes. ~Joan Winmill Brown
More pictures at home - this time in my palm print black & white bodycon dress and black patent stilettos.
Although it doesn't look like this anymore! It was kind of a 'starter' playspace for Fox, while we were unpacking. (We're still unpacking! But you know what I mean, right?) This will eventually be our shared crafting and lego room.
I'm back after a bit of a busy time at work with a few new and updated additions for the city.
The truck and trailer is a Mercedes-Benz Actros hauling a Linfox trailer, pretty common around Australia. In front is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter ambulance, a re-colour of its real world counter part used by the Australian Defence Force. Next is a mod of a mod of mine, a somehow smaller Mini Cooper derived from the 40109 set, in all of the colours that I had available and still able to seat a minifig. Finally, I downsized my Nissan Patrol to better suit my streets, and armed my Public Order and Riot Squad with Brickarms M4's and body armour that had been sitting in a draw unused for a couple of years.
Building instructions for the Mini are available from here.
Building instructions for a plain white Sprinter van are available from here.
More pics are coming over the next few days. In the meantime, comments, criticism and questions are welcome, and as always keep an eye out for more.
