Deep in December, it's nice to remember,

Without a hurt the heart is hollow.

Deep in December, it's nice to remember,

The fire of September that made us mellow.

Deep in December, our hearts should remember

And follow.

40 secs. Had to desaturate slightly as the sky was even more purple-blue than this. The rocks were lit up by some ambient light from the cliffs behind me, but ALSO, with the LED on my Android phone. This shot is just after sunset. As you can see the aliens are about to land on shore! I wasn't supposed to be on this beach after sunset, but as I was getting ready to leave, I saw what this was gonna look like, so I had to stay. I would have stayed longer even, but it started to rain on me! When I got back up to the parking lot the Park Rangers were waiting for me...and they were not happy! They were sitting in the rain, in the parking lot, waiting for the dumb-ass who wasn't following the rules to allow them to lock the gate. They wanted to give me a ticket, but I was lucky enough to talk them out of it! Actually, I'm pretty sure they were aliens in disguise, waiting to greet their brethren on the beach. Anyway, we now have proof of aliens visiting our planet! Ha! (Or, for the less paranoid, it might just also be the eyesore-by-day-glowing-by-night oil derricks which unfortunately populate our California shores.)

#12 in my twelve-month-project.

Right on time! Happy new year!

This project has been a burden from the start. I always had to come up with something by the end of the month.

The first uploads were analog, so i wanted to continue that. So i had to shoot a roll every month. Which takes me at least a couple weeks, I don't want to take 'just a photo'. The results weren't always exactly as i wished. But i kept my promise.

Everyone out decking the holly. I thought this was great textures for the theme Textures and with some added photographic textures I hope you enjoy.

Looking back on this photo it perhaps comes across as a bit more 'Arabian dancing girl' than I intended.

More pictures at home - this time in my palm print black & white bodycon dress and black patent stilettos.
