December 2014

WInter market in Hattem, the Netherlands.

It was pretty hard to make good long exposure shots because of the rain. I was constantly wiping the lens, hoping to avoid blurry spots on the picture... but this one turned out clean enough.

Well this is it - goodbye to 2009 and goodbye to the 'noughties' (and I don't remember anyone ever calling this decade that until now that it is ending!). It's been a mixed bag of a year for us - I went back to work which was, and is, difficult with the whole work/family balance stuff, Wayne left his old job and started a new course and new job which is hard going but ultimately it should be worth it, and Isaac has changed beyond recognition from a dark haired screamy type baby to a blond haired little person who can eat, walk and even talk a little bit - whoa, if that all happened in one year what's he going to be like by the end of 2010? Watch this space!! This is lunch by the way - and he didn't appreciate being kept waiting for it or I might have tried something more creative! Happy 2010 all, hope it's a good one!!
