Another patch added. This one is from Matthew Porter's Monkey World. The ABC book Monkey is one of my son's favorite characters.

This lovely patch was purchased from www.buyolympia.com/q/.

There is nowhere else on Earth where you can be caught in an hour long traffic jam comprising only of bikes!

Handheld, three exposure HDR in HDR Efex Pro 2 from Nik Software. Post-processing in Color Efex 4 and Lightroom 4.

Really struggled to get the time to take anything more interesting than this today. Yesterday's snow caused a lot of trouble in Blackheath, with traffic grinding to a standstill.

My usual 20 minute drive from the station to home turned into 4 hours, so I'm very tired today.

I was playing around with seeing how fast the iPhone's shutter was with this shot, hoping that the train would be a little blurred. Sadly it wasn't. but I did like the way it caught the reflection of the snow on the glass windows.

...or the strange fascination of diagonal lines. A non-Scheimpflug view of the same lattice can be seen here. An attempt to have a diagonal pencil completely in focus, in comments.

A lot is going on right now.

For over a week our city has been holding its breath that a missing 8 year old girl would be found alive. They found her body yesterday. I can't tell if I'm imagining it but everyone seems to be in a daze. Every child I see is tightly gripped by the hand of their parent. The missing signs are still up all over the city and every one of them makes your heart pang with sadness.

Been at work on strike standby for 3 days.

Our contract was up on Saturday at Midnight.

We were told to go to work like normal but be prepared to strike at a moments notice.

Neither side seems to be making any headway in the negotiations.

Rumors have been swirling for months now and everyone here is totally on edge.

30/12/13 - Back home

Pitt Street is always entertaining!

Back to the good ol' Parker ballpoint again.

I was mainly trying to draw the gentleman on the left today but he kept switching poses. (Argh!) As for the gentleman on the right, he had such lovely hair I couldn't resist drawing him.

hold on for a bit.

no more uploads (or surfing around seeing your amazing stuff) til monday or so... see you then!

Photo I took with a second hand panoramic camera that I bought for a few pence in a junk shop.

Slightly late for work I was and the colours were great although they've come out quite orange.

I have passed this place on my bike for years, and I always thought the pyramid structures were beehives...

So anyway, people back home wanted a glimpse into my daily life.... Well, take a look!

Happy Worm's-Eye-View Sunday! :)
