Students ask questions of dining facility (DFAC) workers during a tour of the Camp Bondsteel Dining Facility(DFAC), on Mar. 1, 2023, in Kosovo. The students were local Ferizaj/Uroševac high school culinary arts students and met with DFAC management and talked about food safety, sanitation, storage and preparation on a large scale.

Myer-Henderson Hall has introduced a first-of-its-kind for

installations in the Mid-Atlantic

region meal program that is

designed to refuel Soldiers after

physical training and get them

on the move to their next assignment. Known as Grab and Go, the initiative is in support of the Fuel the Athlete Soldier program and seeks to teach Soldiers good nutrition habits in order to improve both their health and performance, said Capt. Please join us in congratulating the @Warrior Inn Dining Facility Chefs for going above and beyond with their Thanksgiving Meal. They secured 1st Place in “The Commanding Generals Thanksgiving Day “Best Mess” Award” for 2019. The tireless effort from the Warrior Inn DFAC Crew is a reflection of the pride and professionalism that is in every Warrior Soldiers heart. The Command Teams from across the Brigade, came together as servant leaders to give of their time and serve Soldiers and their families a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
