"The Cyclops Arch:" Late last winter, I went to Alabama Hills, CA, for the first time and I have since vowed to return. Beautiful and unique arch shapes and rock formations dot the otherwise vast, wild landscape. Many of the named arches do not have signage or actual trails leading to them. I had to do quite a bit of searching to find the Cyclops Arch, pictured here, and one of the more difficult ones to locate.
a7rii + Lenkinap OKC1-22-1 22/2.8 cine lens
This Lenkinap (Leningrad Kino Apparatus; later: LOMO) 22mm lens was made for 35mm movie cameras. OKC stands for Objective Kinos'emochny, cinema lens. It has a OCT-18 mount (for turret Konvas cameras). It covers 16x22mm, so no FF, but APS-C is fine.
I converted the mount to M42 and use it on the a7rii with a M42 > E-mount helicoid adapter
Made another cyclops skin and a matching 2.0 and kemono body skin. Also made the eye texture and the texture for this top by krankhaus. :)
Checking out some recent and very cool additions to the StreetArt around Fountainbridge, by the Union Canal. Found two X-Men themed murals, one with Jubilee, and another with Cyclops. I wonder if it is the same artist who painted the Wolverine mural I snapped a few weeks ago> (see here www.flickr.com/photos/woolamaloo_gazette/52889545722/ )

Curving into Ochanomizu station on a deceptively chilly morning, a JR E255 Series leads the seasonal "Sazanami" Limited Express from Shinjuku to Tateyama. In the background to the right of the train is the former Ochanomizu Signal Box, one of a handful of intact, out of service signal boxes left in the entire Tokyo Metropolis.
The E255 series was built in the early 1990's for use in the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. Due to its age, and lack of touristic traffic by train to the Peninsula, the 255's are slated to be withdrawn from regular service by Mid-March 2024.

The early morning sunshine catches the reflective silver discs on the main elevation of the new Selfridges Department Store, Birmingham, England.
The freeform shape, coloured blue,is covered in thousands of silver discs.
