Heavy duty tactical station for Spyrius operations. Packs advanced technologies and serves as a support unit for other Spyrius vehicles. Hands functionality is true to the original (new elbow joint is much more versatile) so they can be fixed in any position with levers in the back of the robot and then let down freely.

Inside is a small scooter hidden in front, bigger rover in rear and small aircraft. Top part has two levels of interior with work stations and rest area with beds and table.

The head has room for two figs and can detach and fly on its own. Of course the hands can be separated and attached to the head. There is a hidden compartment in the head with a small rover inside.

The MOCs is inspired by original Spyrius robot 6949.

Cyclops Arch, Alabama Hills, California. I think this looks more like a lobster or crayfish, than a Cyclops, from this view point.

Each one is roughly 1mm long from the tip of its head to the end of its tail filaments. The one at the back is a female carrying eggs.

Decibelle is one of many creations from a group of various engineers. Their goal is to create androids that are catered to a specific task. She was created as a radio technician and was programmer to be a social communications tower. She is the older sister to Circuit, who was created by the same group.

After a sudden power down, she awoke to a new world where she was sheltered from the world. Due to her being unable to travel and move, she used her skill to gather others who would travel to her location and get her information from there. She grew bored with her time, wanted to interact more with the world around her. She had heard of people who would perform on the Internet for fun and money.

She outfitted herself with the appropriate equipment for gaming, the most popular genre of online entertainment. She gave herself an alternate face to her original ‘cyclops’ face that is meant for function, with a cleaner looking face that she assumed viewers would like more. She marketed herself as playing games she had never played before, and while streaming online, she had her webcam pointed from the waist up to hide her tower-like lower body.

She was recognized quickly, and was later contracted by news outlets and broadcast studios to cover events and add commentary. She developed small drones to be her outside eyes, and experience traveling in the world she resides without being able to leave.

The word Cyclops means round eye. The Cyclopes were born of Gaia, creator of the earth and her husband Uranus. They were imprisoned by their father into the underworld, who feared their strength.

Cyclopes are usually shown as having one, round eye in place of where their two eyes should be, although sometimes they are depicted as having two empty eye sockets and an eye in the middle of their forehead. Sometimes they are depicted very ogre like, like other times depicted almost human.

The Cyclopes were known for their great strength, and also their ability of craftsmanship. They created Zeus' lightning bolts, in return for freeing them, while he was fighting the Titans. They also forged Poseidon's trident. They were also known for going around eating humans. They worked as Hephaestus helpers under the volcano Etna making Zeus's lightnings, but were killed by Apollo as a revenge for Zeus's killing his son Aclepius.

One of Poseidon's sons, Polyphemus, was a cyclops. Polyphemus plays an important part in the Odyssey, as one of the monsters that besets Odysseus and his crew on their way back to Ithaca.

In Homer's epic, Odysseus lands on the island of the Cyclops (Sicily) during his journey home from the Trojan War and, together with some of his men, enters a cave filled with provisions. When the giant Polyphemus returns home with his flocks, he blocks the entrance with a great stone and, scoffing at the usual custom of hospitality, eats two of the men. Next morning, the giant kills and eats two more and leaves the cave to graze his sheep.

After the giant returns in the evening and eats two more of the men, Odysseus offers Polyphemus some strong and undiluted wine given to him earlier on his journey. Drunk and unwary, the giant asks Odysseus his name, promising him a guest-gift if he answers. Odysseus tells him "Οὖτις", which means "no one" and Polyphemus promises to eat this "Nobody" last of all. With that, he falls into a drunken sleep.

Odysseus had meanwhile hardened a wooden stake in the fire and now drives it into Polyphemus' eye. When Polyphemus shouts for help from his fellow giants, saying that "Nobody" has hurt him, they think Polyphemus is being afflicted by divine power and recommend prayer as the answer.

In the morning, the blind Cyclops lets the sheep out to graze, feeling their backs to ensure that the men are not escaping. However, Odysseus and his men have tied themselves to the undersides of the animals and so get away.

As he sails off with his men, Odysseus boastfully reveals his real name, an act of hubris that was to cause problems for him later. Polyphemus prays to his father, Poseidon, for revenge and casts huge rocks towards the ship, which Odysseus barely escapes.

Cyclops is always prepared, even as he's styling in his sweet leather jacket. But villainy is everywhere, so perhaps he should get a naugahyde one.

Have fun, and happy collecting!

panorama stitched from 6 Cyclops images.

Somehow things do not really add up - for the stitch to work I need to set the lens as a 130 degree circular fisheye but with that 6 images should give me a 360 panorama (with the overla) but here I got not even 180 degrees.

But hey, it was worth a try.

This began life as a chub mod, if you can believe that. I made this before the Gunjin, so it's been sitting on my shelf for at least two years.

I'd intended to develop this concept past the prototype stage, but got distracted with the Gunjin, and never did. There are some neat ideas here, so I decided to post it as-is.

The Mars pattern is far more than a standard melee variant. The piston fists have a variety of functions. They can emit electromagnetic fields, carry a plasma charge or simply pulp whatever stands in its way.

Just messing with Rit dye and made yellow armor. Put it on my Astonishing Cyclops to make this fig.

The python does not have great vision. To catch its prey, it uses two rows of sensitve heat sensors. The labial pits, seen here, allow for stereoscopic heat detecton, accurate enough to allow the python to hunt in total darkness (e.g., in caves). In the land of the blind...

Research in 1937 found that snakes can detect a mere 0.2°C heat differential at a distance.

With a window allowing the pilot to see the outside, the appearance of the robot thus created has that of a cyclops. Measuring 39 cm / 15.5 Inches high.

It's been a while since I've found a painted stone along the way.
