This quickly built little ship came about because of Tamm S.'s recent and beautiful hovercraft reminded me that I had these Christmas baubles. He also showed me how to attach them using a jumper plate, rather than the Technic pins and axles that I'd previously used. I managed to sandwich the attachment point on the bauble between two jumper plates and attach them to headlight bricks. These then attached to a 2x3 plate.

Not sure what inclined me to actually make this, just kind of did. Hair is heavily modified Han Solo hair. Visor is sculpted.
This is also gonna be my last post for a while. With College and such.
Another shot from last week at Penmon and my first go at star photography. I know it is similar to the last shot, but 2 1/2hrs in the freezing cold and a 2hr drive home has to be worth 2 posts.

I got hooked on this bike the minute I saw its perfectly cracked headlight. Out of all the bikes we checked out in Amsterdam, this was definitely my favorite.

The Alabama Hills are a well known photography location thanks to Mobius Arch. However there are plenty of lesser known locations hiding in this area. This is the very nice Cyclops' skull arch.
A bit more teasing.
More to come bout graffiti, breakdancing and hiphop in general.

This is a photo from the famous upper antelope canyon. It is an amazing place, but it was also really busy in there and not at all what I was expecting (as far as crowds go). I went on a photography tour and had a mixed experience - the location is amazing, but it was so crowded and touristy. I am glad I went because I was able to check it off my bucket list, but I do not think I will be going again. Who knows, I say that now, but I a end up passing through the area, I probably would haha. This was actually the last photo I ended up taking during my time there. This small, thin beam of light lit up the dust and made the red sandstone glow! The beam moves quite quickly, so I was lucky to be here at just the right time. After my trip, I noticed a face in the stone on the right, and it looks like this beam is coming out of its eyes! Once I saw it, I cannot unsee it haha. Anyway, I really do enjoy this image and I hope anyone else who sees it can enjoy it as well. :)
I've shown this to several hardcore vehicle experts I know, and none of them can tell me what it is. Yeah, they unanimously said "It looks like Stan Mott's Cyclops." It has a mid-engine, the steering wheel from a motor boat, and a home-made plywood flatbed . . . and check out that weird caster layout of the front wheels. Deep in the weeds at Eagle Field. Full moon, red, green and white lights during a 188-second exposure.
It's been a long time since I posted an abandoned building in B&W. This is an image from May 2011, processed only yesterday. Yes, I'm a little bit behind :)
