Made these for my Mum and her twin sister for their birthday - hence the sunbonnett twins stitched on them :o)

I purchased from the bowl and cup at Anthropologie shop in seattle downtown.
Unfortunately, the cup was broken long ago. -b-
I went to a 3rd birthday party yesterday at my neighbours and they had made these very patriotic cup cakes. I think I was all "choclate'd" out by the end of the day after eating one of these, 2 brownies and a piece of Cadbury's buttons cake...! Needless to say I will be making up for it with lots of exercise this week.
These little cups are the workhorses of our tableware. They are our go-to juice receptacles, yogurt servers, snack apportioners, tea service, wine sippers. Dishwasher safe, and durable in greasy little hands. Today they contained the delightful jiggles of Jell-O, cut into snackable little squares to bribe a sick Boy into getting lunch down his sore, sore throat.

While developing another iOS graphics app, I 'accidentally' created a lithography filter — litho as in wax-crayon-on-stone-printmaking, not offset-lithography. Like this 19th century print I scanned: www.flickr.com/photos/tinrocket/4208002566/
I rolled the filter up into its own little app that loads pictures from the film roll and processes them. There are no settings to adjust. Processing time on an iPhone 4S is about 10 seconds. After processing, you can view the image and save it back to the film roll. This image was output at 4096px.
Should I release this as an iPhone/iPad app? Mac too? What would you like to use it for? Please leave comments below.

吸煙害處多籮籮
小題：戒煙好處鐵證如山
我一向討厭人抽煙，別說對健康的影響，單是那股煙草臭味就已經令人無法忍受，而煙草所含的有害化學物，可說會遺害整個身體。由吸呼系統到循環系統，從生殖功能以致皮膚外觀，都受到或多或少的毒害。最慘是不只煙民自己受害，就連身旁的朋友陌生人，也被這股二手毒煙所波及。
煙草對健康的破壞可謂鐵證如山，例如會增加多種癌症的發病機會，又會影響心臟及肺部健康，煙民患多種慢性疾病的比率亦較高，女士吸煙多皮膚也老得特別快。
很多人以為吸煙久了，即使戒煙也未必可以改善健康，但近期一項針對亞洲男士的回顧性研究便顯示，戒煙可以把心血管疾病的風險大幅減低一成九。
小題：再難也要戒
當然戒煙並不是易事，尤其是單靠意志力的戒煙成功率可能只有百分之五至十左右，原因是煙草中的尼古丁起效快，吸一吸十幾秒就已上腦，產生提神的效果，並會令身體慢慢上癮，除癮的不適就大大減低戒煙的成功率，而戒煙後「復吸率」亦十分高。過去的研究已顯示，找醫生或輔導機構協助，可以提高戒煙成功率。
以前的煙草廣告都把抽煙塑造成「型」與「酷」，但看看那些站在垃圾筒旁邊吞雲吐霧的男女，大力抽啜煙草的形態，實在與「靚」完全沾不上邊；而那些從車上或商場出來，快步急走拿出煙包的煙民，就算穿戴時尚也只滲出一種癮君子的味道。
其實，由上月起，禁煙範圍已由室內公眾地方及食肆等，擴展至百多個露天公共運輸交_處，未來禁煙範圍亦只會有增無減。與其做個左閃右避的狼狽煙民，不如做個健康快樂的無煙人。
