Uber cheesey - if I am going to be in explore for the next few days then I may as well take the piss and go for the season of bokeh whole-hog.

See comments for last years shot that inspired this one (although that one was 'shopped as I only had a bridge camera then).

ODC - Hollow, as in this is a hollow cliche, a shot with no soul at all...

I spent the last morning of 2017 walking up to High Cup Nick, which I've been meaning to do for years. I was rewarded with great views but a lot of disappointing images (and numb fingers). Mostly to blame was the wind that made my tripod vibrate and water drops constantly covering the lens which I only noticed later. But I returned with a few that made the journey worthwhile.

Told you there'd be a lot of kersplashing around :)

A humorous cup :)

You know that drink that only comes in the copper cup like that, that is what I want.

The leaves hold water which little birds drink from and once they bloom the bees go crazy for the blooms. I planted it near fence to try to block deer, but they just come in a different way.

YouTube: Old Maxwell House Coffee Ad

This interesting fungus appeared on the compost used for a plant which my daughter had recently potted up. It looks like an Ascobolus sp. dung fungus or something of that sort. The larger individual cups are tiny, about 2 mm across.
