Experimenting with trying to capture the way water moves. Looking at this afterward has me wondering what the shot might look like if I were to start the cup low and bring it quickly vertical while capturing the shot. It might be cool to try and get a symmetrical ring of overflowing water.
just messing around with a tin cup,i thought the green and shadow work well and was quite interesting. thoughts as always are welcome.

If you look into a coffee cup as soon as it is poured, the foam bubbles have an iridescence to them, caused by the natural oils within the beans that have just been released by the grinding process. This is the same oil that coats beans that have been darkly roasted, like espresso beans. The oils, then, are released as the hull fractures during the extended roasting time and covers them.
