"These are a few of my favorite things" I have a collection of bone china tea cups. Someone gave me an idea from the photo club to shoot these beautiful items.
Team Bears Unlimited, consisting of UCA students John White, Ben Tackett, R. Kyle Eichelberger and Michelle Enfinger, demonstrated the Bear Claw System in preparation for competing in the Microsoft Imagine Cup in St. Petersburg, Russia. The system is a device that can help physical and occupational therapy patients through game play via a glove fitted with sensors that communicates through a Windows smart phone. The team is competing for a $50,000 prize and is mentored by faculty members Dr. Sinan Kockara and Dr. Tansel Halic.
This is a variety of Cladonia sp. Not too sure which variety this is.There are so many. This Cladonia sp. could be little Pixie Cups.
7 Days of Shooting - Week #18 (w/b 5th November) Nature: Take us outside and share the wonders of your local nature. If you have pets this is a good week to show them off or maybe a lovely landscape. Just nothing man-made or in human form ;)
I have caught a fevered viral infection last week stayed in bed almost every time. Today I am feeling a little better and as I put the creme into my cup of coffee I get this lovely heart. No trick!
I believe this is a good sign and so I wish a lovely day to all of you...

The Melbourne Cup is Australia's major thoroughbred horse race. Marketed as "the race that stops a nation", it is a 3,200 metre race for three-year-olds and over. It is the richest "two-mile" handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races. Conducted annually by the Victoria Racing Club on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria, the event starts at 3pm (daylight saving time) on the first Tuesday in November.
These were also estate sale finds. I don't collect Fire King, but I couldn't leave these behind. They're just too cute.

These little cups are the workhorses of our tableware. They are our go-to juice receptacles, yogurt servers, snack apportioners, tea service, wine sippers. Dishwasher safe, and durable in greasy little hands. Today they contained the delightful jiggles of Jell-O, cut into snackable little squares to bribe a sick Boy into getting lunch down his sore, sore throat.
