In training for the mad march mare, myself and tom took a walk up Nick Cup Nick in the North Pennines near the Lake District and Penrith.

I can't say it any better than scripture. I do have choices and can take control of some things but ultimately God is in all control and what a great peace and comfort to know that as I pursue dreams and goals that I can totally trust God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, who loves me and has a perfect plan!

Scarlet Elf Cup / sarcoscypha austriaca. Cloud Wood, Leicestershire. 14/03/20.
This was the largest Scarlet Elf Cup I managed to find and as shown, it had a narrow, elongated form. To me, the nipped in 'waist' looks as if two cups had mutated into one. Can this happen or have I been reading too much about mutating viruses lately ?
The image was made looking directly down into the cup. It helps you gain an impression of how much the edge had been nibbled by rodents.

The next cup sketch in the months' challenge...actually a 'mug'..... heavier and more rugid than a cup...maybe! Composition book art with watercolor, sepia ink, black Noodler's ink.
Kelly: But I did talk to Derrick again the other day. He called me. "Happy sigh."
Beulah: Yeah or else you wouldn't talk at all dear. You two are so cute. Did you tell him about the wedding plans this time?
Kelly: Are you kidding me?! He would panic and dump me, or worse, interfere and have ideas. His dad is there on a visit anyway, and that seems to put a certain strain into his voice.
Beulah: Did you tell him that you've talked childhood memories with his mum though?
Kelly: ……. Boy! Does these pastries look delicious or what?!
Beulah: Kelly!!
