Shot with a Mamiya 645 Pro TL & 80mm f/2.8 lens... Fuji Velvia 50, Cross Processed...Scanned with my Epson 4490
My first attempt at cross processing. I have been envious of the pictures that friends have done using this method, and just recently I found out how to do it in PhotoShop Elements. I think I could have used a more suitable picture, but I do like the effect it has had on the lanten.
Another photo with cross processing, starting to like the feeling it creates... Didn't do any sharpening though, cause I wanted it really raw

In doing this assignment with my favorite person of twenty years today (first date). I wanted something that really stands out. It looks like we are standing in front of a green screen. Happy anniversary to the little lady who made my life joyful. One of these days we will make eye contact at the right spot.

For this roll, I made all the things I would not normally recommand : testing a new body with an additionnal accessory, a new lens, a new processing (for me) in cross processing, with an expired roll of film...
To digitalize those pictures, I had to severely move the cursors on the scanner driver and on RawTherapee
This is a branch of blossom that I photographed 3 times: black & white, slide and cross-processed, this is the cross-processed picture.

From the old bridge at the Lake Monroe Wayside Park just off US Hwy 17/92 in Debary, FL. These shots were processed using cross processing effects from VSCO6.
Iron photographer 209 invited cross-processed compositions. Lacking a film lab that could turn things around in reasonable time, I set out to explore various options for the cross-processed effect, taking a trial of DFT film stock along the way. I was interested because it includes several presets including the brownish cast expected from Fuji Sensia.
This image was processed during a free trial period of DFT film stocks using the high contrast cross-processed Fuji Sensia preset. The yellow and brown casts enhanced trees while the increased contrast reduced background distractions.

Nita handed me this found film, discovered around her father's house during decorating. It was an expired (2001) APS film cassette. I've seen them before. Sort of a beta max of film photography. I thought that they were a modified 35mm film. But it wasn't. Soon realised my mistake in the changing bag. Too small for even the 35mm spool size. Couldn't go back, as I'd opened the cassette. So I put it into the Paterson tank loose - no spool. Extra chemicals, and more frequent inversions. This came out - perfectly dated to 1999, and provenanced to Lands End, Cornwall. By the way, as a result I've learned more about APS film. Modern DSLR users can credit it for their APS-C sensor sizes. While "full frame" DSLR users can size up to 135 (35mm) film. It wasn't liked.
