HSS everyone. PP info: Original HDR image of low raking sun behind a cloud. Took exposure down and upped black levels to create the silhouettes.
Processed using Light Room's cross process pre-set to get a moody offset to the colours.
In photoshop increased canvas side stretched 20% wider and added the reflection by flipping the image then transforming it to crush it down. Tweaked the Hue level of the reflection portion then finally added a redfield filter for water ripples.

This is the former library of the Gardens of Herrenhausen, situated at the entrance of the Berggarten.
The Herrenhausen Gardens (German: Herrenhäuser Gärten), located in Herrenhausen, an urban district of Lower Saxony's capital of Hanover are made up of the Great Garden (Großer Garten), the Berggarten, the Georgengarten and the Welfengarten. The gardens are a heritage of the Kings of Hanover.
The Great Garden has always been one of the most distinguished baroque formal gardens of Europe while the Berggarten has been transformed over the years from a simple vegetable garden into a large botanical garden with its own attractions. Both the Georgengarten and the Welfengarten have been made in the style of English gardens, and both are considered popular recreation areas for the residents of Hanover. The history of the gardens spans several centuries, and they remain a popular attraction to this day. (Source: Wikipedia)

Cross processing is a technique in photo editing that replicates the appearance of film which has been developed using alternate chemical processing.
The method involves using chemicals that were actually intended for different types of film - like using the chemicals normally used for processing positive slide film when processing negative print film - a technique which causes unusual and sometimes striking shifts in color.
In digital photography, one can achieve a comparable look, producing images with unexpected color combinations, unusual contrast, and a unique vintage or retro aesthetic.

Go ahead. Cross Process your Dog. It's fun.
I am going through my old 10-22mm folder when I rented it this summer and I am missing it so much that I am considering selling my 70-200 and going for the 16-35 or 17-40.
I had the privilege of being interviewed by Lomography! You can read the interview and see some photographs here:
