A Shakespeare Sunday salute to "The Creature from the Black Lagoon," released March 5, 1954. It's the last great original Universal monster movie. Alas, a sad anniversary following this week's passing of Ricou Browning, one of the two men to inhabit the creature suit (Ricou was the underwater creature), and, I think, the last original cast member.
