Bringing fictional creatures into existence within a live art and theatrical context.

 

Creature is a cross-disciplinary project led by SDNA in collaboration with pioneering digital media artists, neuro-scientists, electronic musicians, dancers and physical performers, and explores the ways in which we can bring fictional creatures into existence within a live art and theatrical context. The first stage of research focused on the exploration of the ideal conditions needed for the human imagination to conjure visions of a “Creature.”

 

These things are absurdly tiny and fast. They are so small and light, you can't even feel them on your skin.

A great evening of art at Sotherbys. This was a private evening for the launch of the Bear Witness exhibition at Sothebys in bond street London part of Igerslondon event.

 

It is a must see for any one interested in art, it opens to the public from 4th to 10th March. The 650 works go on auction on the 10th to 12th March 2015.

It's a man, a beast, a king, and the artist. We think.

I really liked these like creatures at the Portsmouth University end of year exhibition. The attention to detail, such as solder based spider webs was excellent.

creature of the day

Working on some ideas that I might turn into paintings.

And this after I said I wouldn't paint anymore creatures!

They always come back...

A cute creature at Yiff Spot.

They need to keep it clear of vegetation for a band on either side so that creatures can't climb across it.

is it a lizard? A pre-historic frog? Anybody knows?
