..So who likes spiders, honestly? I don’t really, but when I’m holding my camera with a macro lens and see how special they are i kinda do and am fascinated by them..
I was very impressed by the rich colour of this Red-shouldered Hawk. It was so red...I had to walk a half mile in the field to get close enough for this shot. I'm never comfortable walking in a field or just leaving the trail with all the snakes and the venymous critters I can find. :-)
J'étais vraiment impressionné par les couleurs riches de cette Buse. La forme foncée de l'ouest est tellement plus rouge que la forme de l'est. Bref, j'ai dû marcher plus d'un demi km dans un champ pour me rapprocher de cette buse. Je ne suis jamais à l'aise de quitter les sentiers avec tous les serpents et les créatures venimeuses que je peux y trouver. :-)

This is an imagined skeleton of a creature in Hindu mythology. Being part elephant, crocodile, fish and more, Makara was believed to have been able to roam in multiple realms. An exhibit at UrMu (Urban Museum) in Kuala Lumpur.

I love finding shells on the beach and this one was a winner... you can see little shells growing inside the barnacles that are attached!!
