Creature is a cross-disciplinary project led by SDNA in collaboration with pioneering digital media artists, neuro-scientists, electronic musicians, dancers and physical performers, and explores the ways in which we can bring fictional creatures into existence within a live art and theatrical context. The first stage of research focused on the exploration of the ideal conditions needed for the human imagination to conjure visions of a “Creature.”

Alice likes to keep her pets immortalized in jars and display cases. As for the dragons, unicorns and mermaids these are creatures made entirely in her imagination.
This final collection of one off specimens will be gone forever and, once captured by another collector will be as dead as her taxidermied Dodo.
Does it kill? This agony that holds your heart like a rope holds the neck of a hangman. Does it hurt? That knife they throw at you like if it was nothing. Does it? Are you gonna die?
