This is another view of the worldās largest train station. Originally named Grand Central Terminal and build in 1903 the facility covers 49 acres, has 44 passenger platforms on two levels supporting 67 separate rail tracks,ā¦ formidable to say the least.
125, 000 commuters and 500,000 visitors pass through this hall each day.
103 retail businesses operate at the station seven days a week.
10,000 meals are served each day
19,000 items at any one time are in the ālost and foundā, you guessed it, coats are lost the most.
I was fascinated with this majestic piece of architecture. This color version, hand held, is intended to show the hustle and bustle on any given day.

Monument in New London, Texas commemorating the school explosion of March 18, 1937 (311 died). This brought about the addition of odorant to natural gas, which in its natural state is odorless.
Welcome to the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, FL. It's primarily a children's zoo, as evidenced by the number of Moms with strollers and toddlers in tow! Its focus appears to be on teaching the children about the threatened and endangered species in our world, and indicates the conservation status of each animal on its identification sign. There also is a petting zoo, but I passed on that one!!
One of the first things you see after entering the Central Florida Zoo is a water park area. I was fascinated by the array of colorful chairs - all done in eye-catching red, yellow and blue. A closer look shows them to be made out of recycling-based plastic wood, perhaps echoing their theme of conservation.

I wanted to try something bright, clean and crisp today. I also wanted to experiment with macro and turns out this is as macro as my lens can get.

I think her spur of the moment strategy was to quickly eat all the ingredients before I had a chance to get the stove fired up! She started with the tomato but doesn't like onions.
