School of Pharmacy, Hajvery University has organized three days Certified Course entitled “Emerging Trend in Pharmacy Practice”. Dr. Zaheer-ud-din-Babar, Head of Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University Auckland, New Zeeland was the guest speaker. He is recipient of prestigious “Research Excellence Award” from University of Auckland in 2012. Dr. Babar has active research linkages with the leading universities in Australia, Europe and in the Asia Pacific Region and has acted as a consultant for World Health Organization, Health Action International, and International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and for the Pharmaceutical Management Agency of New Zealand. He is a reviewer of top tier health policy journals and of funding bodies including Australian National Health and Medical Research Council. Dr Babar is the founding editor of Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (www.joppp.org).
In the end, there was the closing ceremony of this three day course. Students of different batches, Mr. Talib Hussain and Dr. Lubna Shakir shared their comments about these worthwhile lectures. The Rector of Hajvery University, Dr. Khalid Pervaiz has given the thank note and positive feedback for the lectures. Souvenir was represented to Dr. Zaheer ud din Babar by Prof. Dr. Khalid Pervaiz. Dr. Babar also thanked and appreciated the management, faculty, and students and thanked Hajvery University for inviting him. The session was ended with the group photo.
Washington Race Course in Charleston, SC (now Hampton Park, next to The Citadel). The track was run by the SC Jockey Club, & operated from 1792-1882. The wealthy planters raced their horses here, often with slave jockeys. The races were one of the highlights of the Charleston social scene; duels were also held here. During the Civil War, Union POWs were kept here, with the officers imprisoned in the ladies clubhouse. Many died & were buried in the infield / near the former clubhouse/grandstand. In 1865, freed slaves built a fence around the graves, adding an arch that read "Martyrs of the Race Course." They held a procession in honor of the dead soldiers which is now known as the first Memorial Day. Mary Murray Drive is a one way road with bike lane that circles the entire park; it is literally built on top of the racetrack footprint. The original track entry posts were given to August Belmont for his new track in NY that opened in 1905, where they are still found at the Belmont Park entrance today. Seared Mediterranean Dorade
Cauliflower "cous cous," alba mushrooms, and potato puree. ($26)
Notes: My friend ordered this dish, but, of course, I had to try it, and thankfully, he was generous enough to share. This filet of fish was perfectly executed - the skin was crisp on top and the met was wonderfully flaky and moist underneath. The filet is topped with a gorgeous pomegranate-red gathering of finely diced beet root.
The cauliflower cous cous was very enjoyable - perfectly al dente. The white alba mushrooms were also a treat. I didn't really get to taste the beet sauce or the potato puree, so I can' t comment on those elements.
My friend had a glass of Adelsheim 2005 Reserve Pinot Blanc ($9).

3 mile mark on the course: This is a photograph from the 2022 Mullingar Half Marathon which was held in the town of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Thursday 17th March 2022 (St. Patrick's Day) at 10:00. All proceeds of the Mullingar Half Marathon go to the charity T.E.A.M. (Temporary Emergency Accommodation Midlands). The event, like so many others over the past 18 months, has suffered disruption to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Today's event seen the race return to its usual 17th March spot after posptonement seen the 2021 edition completed in September 2021. There were over 1,200 finishers of the race today. The race starts and finishes in Mullingar town and takes in some rural roads and the Royal Canal Greenway before finishing in the town park. Overall, the route is fair and reasonably flat. Today's weather was mild but very breezy in places around the course.

I received this certificate for the completion of my acting course. Yes, it's nice to have something, but I have *no* idea what the numbers mean. I've got 24 Credits out of how many? Is Level Three better or worse than Level One? What's the scale? I'm sure someone somewhere with a spreadsheet is happy though.
