Of course, JJ loves nothing more than for me to toss his tennis ball so he can run it down and catch it, return, rinse and repeat...and I mean seriously repeat... but to change things up, sometimes I will go in the yard and hide his tennis ball. Then send him on a hunting mission. It's a fun change of pace and stimulates his sense of smell and vision to go find the ball.
Finally had some sunshine on this day after so much rain, created some nice shadows.
Just thought I'd make an hdr out of this previous pic to see how it turned out. This is the scene of the Community golf course in Kettering. I hope it's considered part of the metro parks.

I went out for a walk along the Green River today, which runs right alongside the Riverbend Golf Course in Kent, WA. Beautiful day!
Great start of a magnificent dinner. (When the main course arrived, the camera was forgotten. (Think about perfect steak and delicious Icelandic lobster)

1) Play golf at my favorite course.
2) Hike in my favorite Redwood grove.

Members of the South Carolina National Guard Pre-Mobilization Training Assistance Element assist in a pre-deployment course for approximately 30 Airmen from Joint Base Charleston at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, South Carolina, March 6-10, 2017. The week-long course familiarizes Airmen with the ability properly execute Army Warrior Tasks (AWT) to Army standards. AWTs are basic tasks all Soldiers should be proficient in regardless of their career field.
The first day, March 6, Airmen learned basic land navigation skills. These skills included how to read a map, use a compass and plot coordinates on the map using a protractor.
