Ingredients for two servings.
------------------------------------------------------------------
1 fillet red snapper
2 pounds mussels, scrubbed and debearded
6 black mushrooms, cut into quarter
10 pitted black olives
4 flillets anchovy
3 cloves garlic, one minced and the others pressed
a plenty of olive oil
1 cup of flour
salt and black pepper
a fresh oregano
some red pepppers
1 tablespoon soy sauce (this adds a subtle touch to the dish, possibly)
Italian parsley
half bottle wine (white)

Insalata semplicissima, non l'avrei fatta se non fossero arrivati i signori che espongono il loro banchetto a Trento in piazza Erbe. La valeriana è bellissima, le foglie sono tese e carnose, leggermente più scure del normale. Costano un po' di più del supermercato ma ne vale la pena.
Ingredienti per 4 persone
400 gr di valeriana
2 uova sode
un piccolo cipollotto
Mondare la valeriana. Sgusciare le uova sode, dividerle in spicchi. Mondare il cipollotto eridurlo a lamelle sottili. Mescolare delicatamente gli ingredienti condendo con olio e sale.

Third Grade's Cultural Day continues this eveing. Each family is bringing a potluck dish based on their chosen culture. I'm making my mother's wontons, which are probably my absolutely favorite food she cooks.
This was awesome: cooking on a nearly-windless ridgetop at almost 3000m on a perfectly cloudless day.
