We decided to put the colourful sprinkles in with the chocolate chips so that if you bite into the cookie, you could see coloured things in them! :)

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, who also serves as Director of Community Relations for System Administration of North Shore/LIJ Hospital Systems attended an annual bake sale and fund raiser at Mattlin Middle School of the Plainview/Old Bethpage School District on Thursday, December 13th. Cookies, cakes, popcorn, fruit, protein bars plus a raffle were a few of the items for sale. "There was a sense of excitement at the school with everyone participating in the wonderful cause which was organized under the leadership of Principal Dean Mittleman. It was just a wonderful thing to see students participating in something so special to help children who are patients at Cohen Children's Hospital.” “It was an honor to witness this," said Jacobs.
Enjoying looking at and purchasing the goodies at the main table were many students and Legislator Judy Jacobs.
Finished. I made the cookies small enough that I got 11 dozen out of a double recipe. They go into the freezer like this and will be frosted and drizzled with chocolate before serving.

this was my first time making decorated sugar cookies and they came out...decently. i need more practice with the royal icing, but at least they were tasty.

Palm-sized sugar cookies, cupcake design. Zave's 3rd birthday. Complimentary Sticker. Purple, Green and Orange. I have a lovely time icing these. (Made the royal icing with Meringue powder instead of egg whites)
