Close up (macro) of a just baked Oatmeal Raisin Cookie taken with my Fujifilm F200EXR. My kitchen has bright florescent lighting, none of the available florescent white balance presets looked very good but the auto white balance did a great job. I'm very happy that the F200EXR takes good pictures of my bakery - the difficult lighting in my kitchen makes that difficult. Usually I have to correct the color with editing. This picture has had no editing.
Delicious and easy to make.
The recipe is on my blog. christmasnotebook.com/2007/12/07/daniels-cookie-bar-bites-2/
Sugar cookies with royal icing and sprinkles..bagged and ready to go to Valentine's party @ pre-school
So Cookie might like to model. She might also do it in a crappy small town as a tester for high school photos. lol
Cookie is a Fairyland Feeple60 Delf Luts Soony hybrid.
So I decided to make a life-size iPad cookie for my dad for his 61rst birthday. He is a HUGE Apple fan and carries his iPad everywhere. Instead of a sugar cookie I made a hybrid cookie/brownie "thing". It wasn't perfect with holding it's shape - but not bad!! And tasted super yummy! The black icing was chocolate RI, so keep the chocolate going and try to use a little less black dye. I also wanted to make App bites. It would have been a lot easier had I made these on 2" squares - but I decided to try and do life-size on these too. SO tiny!! I used a lot of new techniques - for me - to make these... RI transfers for the apps, and I made my own stencil cutter for the apple cookie. I'm giving it to him tomorrow!!! I hope he likes it!! :)
Since our TiVo cookie cutout never arrived in time for Christmas cookies, we did a few in the Easter batch.
