The very latest Matchbox Case E/Mix 4 VERY briefly appeared in a small amount of UK Tesco stores then nothing......No restocks and now most of my nearest branches have been almost devoid of any Matchbox singles for several weeks!
I was very lucky that a fellow collector who lives in the next town to me found some and kept them back for me. He grabbed me a couple of this newly recoloured VW Beetle Convertible, definitely its best release yet! Mint and boxed.
The Defender for the last sunbeams of the fading summer.
An easy made model: just a roof cut, a snorkel and Range Rover wheels.

Hot Wheels Collectors Information
Pictured is the 7th edition of the Hot Wheels model entitled "Camaro Convertible Concept," featured as model #149 in the 2011 Hot Wheels collection and 9/10 in the Faster Than Ever series. This casting made its Hot Wheels debut in 2008.
About the 2007 Camaro Convertible Concept
The 2007 Camaro Convertible Concept was announced January 6, 2007 at the 2007 North American International Auto Show. At a glance it would seem that the only difference between the coupe and convertible concepts would be the roof and Hugger Orange pearl tri-coat paint job with a pair of dark gray racing stripes, but this is not the case. Besides the obvious convertible top, there are subtle changes to the exterior as well. Every surface was changed from the door-cut back. The rear fenderlines drop off from the horizontal surface to the vertical surface a couple of inches farther out than on the coupe to keep proportions good and the rear spoiler was reshaped. The 21 in (53 cm) front and 22 in (56 cm) rear wheels were also redesigned and a thin orange line was applied to the outer edge, a nod to redwalls available circa 1969. There are many interior changes that were incorporated into the new concept. The retro houndstooth-pattern seats of the coupe were replaced with modern leather and orange stitching. The metal finishes, accent panel finishes, and seats are all different colors. The rear seats are 6 in (15 cm) closer together to make room for the tonneau cover. The clarity of the circular gauges in square frames were improved by making the faces white with black chrome numbers and a red anodized needle. The deep-dish three-spoke steering wheel and four-pack gauge cluster carry over from the coupe concept. Chrome seat-belt buckles are designed to look like the iconic belts buckles in late 1960s GM cars. This reworked interior of the Camaro Convertible Concept is now a very close representation of what will be seen in the production version of the Camaro. Production of the Camaro Convertible is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2011 in Oshawa, Ontario, where the coupe is currently assembled.

Im getting so used to seeing very stock looking U.S. Muscle Cars in the Hot Wheels line up that its easy to forget that role should technically be given to Matchbox. That balance is being addressed a bit more for 2019 with the introduction of the 2018 Dodge Charger and this very neat 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible.
Going back to what Matchbox does best, this is a perfectly ordinary and factory accurate casting with no add ons or wild colour combinations. Well proportioned and nicely detailed at both ends this is exactly the kind of product I like to collect :-)
Part of the latest Case E/M sourced recently from the U.S. as the only way to keep abreast of 2019 releases due to no retailers now selling Matchbox here in the UK! Mint and boxed.
