Was later for sale at 38.000 GBP (48.000€). Even later in Sweden with new black top:
525.000 SEK (55.000€, 43.654 GBP)
The former owner listed the car with 34,000 miles.

Welded and ground, no filler yet. Fit is much better. Notice the bend and rust in the door. That door was bent back so far that it broke the hinge, and pushed the cowl in about 1".
I have always been fascinated with Studys.
Studebaker's have a very long history in the American Automotive industry.

I don't know if they ever made convertibles but this owner had to have one. So I guess he created one.
It was a beauty that caught my eye.
This '57 Chevy Bel-Air Convertible came in for a little freshing up. We fixed some minor dents and paint issues mostly checking and pealing. we also refinished the trunk and the spare tire. The '57 was refinished in Matador Red in Valspar base clear.

On Display at the Rain soaked Semi-Annual KCI Cruise was held near KCI Airport on June 20, 2009.
