All my life I have always got by on 4 or 5 hours sleep but it is only in the last few years that I have realised the benefits that have accrued because of this. It is too late obviously for me to reset my life's pattern if I had wanted too anyway.

Sometimes you just have to sit and watch....a show like this opens hearts and souls to the infinite beauty of Mother Nature.

I felt blessed to be there and .....to be here!!

 

Bob looks at Mt. Ranier, elevation 14411 feet from the Third Burroughs, elevation 7828. Mt. Ranier is the tallest mountain in the "Lower 48". It is covered with 26 glaciers. It's last eruption was in 1894. Mudflows from the next eruption could reach Seattle.

Hotel Windsor, Spring Street Melbourne. Opened in 1884, the Windsor is notable for being Melbourne's only surviving purpose-built "grand" Victorian era hotel. The original hotel was built by shipping magnate George Nipper and designed by Charles Webb in a broadly Renaissance Revival style.

 

Statue of Adam Lindsay Gordon (1833-1870) Australian Poet whose work represented "the beginnings of a national school of Australian poetry", The statue by Paul Montford was erected 1931 and part of the City of Melbourne Arts and heritage collection.
