A pair of barn swallows thinking about their migration to warmer climes before too long. This was taken in Alberta when I was visiting my friend Don Delaney. I liked how the grain in the wood really shows how shallow the depth of field is with a longer lens.
One of my bird feeders is right outside my window. This cardinal is on the ground directly below the feeder. Eating the seed that squirrels knock off the feeder above. At night, possums like to feed here on seed, fruit bits and digging under for hidden larva & grubs.

Solitary meditation on a jetty that looks out into Lake Michigan. One often sees this scene when the lake waters are calm.
Her life is still....she is a sadhvi ...stays in a confined place ...wears the same cloth...reads the same old religious book...A woman can contribute a lot by being 'in' the society ...i wonder why she prevented herself from contributing to the society & made her life ' STILL'....
