DB Class 90s 90040+90035 working 4m25 Mossend Yard - Daventry Container Train passing Woodacre on 30/11/2016
Another abstract from our recent visit to Faversham Creek. Caroline, Matt and myself spent a very poor lighted afternoon walking around a boatyard. Was still able to get some abstracts out of the visit.
A string of container cars slither through the Sierra Nevada Range at Truckee. Call me old fashioned but I really miss the old box cars. How can an old bum like me travel for free anymore?

Four C44-9W's, 4319, 5102, 4078 and 966, lead a lengthy eastbound BNSF container train. Two C44-9W's, 5114 and 5523, are providing distributed power mid train and two ES44C4 (GE)'s, 7950 and 8007, are also assisting at the rear.
4319, 5102 and 966 are sporting a mix of older 1990's versions of the BNSF livery. 4078 is wearing Ferromex's 2020 'Zebra' livery.
