Some kind of crafty thing that seemed to fit the MM theme this week, Container.

I've had these items for some years and photographed them before.

Played around with the lighting, the positioning of the four items.

the arrangement in the frame, and also the height of the tripod.

Today this is the best version, tomorrow I might change my mind!

Very little post-processing.

The Waalhaven is one of the dug ports on the left Maas river bank of Rotterdam. With its surface of 310 ha. she is the largest dug harbor in the world. The Waalhaven opens into the Nieuwe Maas and is therefore directly connected to the sea via the Tear (Dutch: het Scheur) and the New Waterway (Dutch: Nieuwe Waterweg).

Ida Rambow is a German container ship of 150 meters long and 23 meters wide with a tonnage of 11662 and has a capacity of 720 containers (TEU).

Glancing through my gallery you might think that we have an abundance of insect life in our surroundings. Nothing could be further from the truth and I struggle to find much at all day to day, especially at the moment during our anticyclonic gloom. One species that does seem to have done OK is the mother of pearl moth - patania ruralis. As I go around the garden watering with the hose, I inevitably disturb one or two moths and this one flew out yesterday and secreted itself amongst the Japanese azalea leaves. Usually these moths in flight travel fast and disappear before I can pinpoint their position. But I managed to spot this one's hiding place and got a snap or two, even with our dark, grey skies overhead. These mother of pearl moths have emerged from a clump of nettles which we grew in a container pot. Quite often they have flapped back into the nettles which have kindly stung me as I strive for a snap or two. This time however, there were no such hazards.

En dirección al puerto de Bilbao el Teco de Continental Rail desciende el puerto de la Brújula apretando frenos y con el dinámico a fondo para cumplimentar la cercana limitación de velocidad existente en los cambios de entrada de la estación de Santa Olalla.

Heading towards the port of Bilbao, the Continental Rail container train descends the Brújula mountain pass, squeezing the brakes and with the dynamic gear at full throttle to comply with the nearby speed limitation that exists at the entrance changes to the Santa Olalla station.
