Fantastic complex of containers in Mexico made into bars and restaurants, where we spent an afternoon of drinking margaritas and playing poker!
I love Jade plants and succulents and have been seeing tons of cute ideas on Pinterest lately.
I've had the green glass container and Fire King hobnail containers for a while and thought it was about time to use them for something. I can't bring myself to use unflawed Pyrex for planting, so I chose this mug and bowl to repurpose as planters. The Old Town Blue mug is chipped near the rim and the blue primary is beyond dwd.
I added a layer of rocks on the bottom of each dish for air, since there aren't any drainage holes in these containers. Then soil and more rocks on top for decoration and to keep the soil from going everywhere. :)
Almost everything you have in your home spent time at some stage in shipping container. Zeebrugge counts as one of the most important ports in Europe for containerized cargo, handling over 2.5 million TEUs (containers) in 2010.
Can’t help wondering about the effect on trade because of Brexit. Places like Zeebrugge could be hard hit. What do you think?

A container crane (also container handling gantry crane or ship-to-shore crane) is a type of large dockside gantry crane found at container terminals for loading and unloading intermodal containers from container ships.
Container cranes consist of a supporting framework that can traverse the length of a quay or yard, and a moving platform called a "spreader". The spreader can be lowered down on top of a container and locks onto the container's four locking points ("cornercastings"), using a twistlock mechanism. Cranes normally transport a single container at once, however some newer cranes have the capability to pick up two to four 20-foot containers at once.

This 40-foot one-container model, called Modular Dwelling Unit (MDU) by New York-based design company LOT-EK is colorful, shows a clean design and was built with reused industrial materials. According to the company website, MDUs have been designed for “individuals moving around the globe.” That takes the question if one’s shipment has arrived to a whole new level!

The very rare sight of a diverted intermodal service at Kirkconnel on the G&SW route, with a Loadhaul 56110 doing the honours as well! The train will have originated at Coatbridge FLT and travelled via Paisley, Barassie (run round) and Kilmarnock, as containers are prohibited between Glasgow and Kilmarnock via Barrhead. May 1996.
