We continue the microtruck series with this fresh white european styled semi truck transporting two 20-foot standard containers. This time I tried a different approach with the wheels and managed to recreate the typical double tires on the truck's rear axle. What do you think of this model? What should I build next? Tell me in the comments!

The first containers into the port are shoved into the unloading area on March 27. Based on news reports the containers were loaded with a type of flax board product from Belgium and were shipped to Montreal, where CN railed them to Superior and CP brought the cars to Duluth. The wood is being used by cabinet maker Lexington Manufacturers in Brainerd (containers are trucked there).
Interesting that the larger container is on top of a shorter container.

I have driven by these stacked containers on Washington SR 20 near La Conner many times and finally stopped to photograph them. I was struck once again by how simple photography is in principle, but how challenging in practice. These containers are right beside a busy highway. I stopped at a nearby service station on the opposite side and walked over to take some pictures. I had envisioned a straight on shot, but found my route blocked by a ditch filled with thistles which I did not want to brave. I could have walked the long way around to the shoulder of the highway but I did not want my family to have to sit and wait for me for while I did that. Also, standing at the side of a busy highway and not watching the traffic or having someone else to watch it for you is not the best idea. So, with my POV somewhat constrained, I took a number of shots when the view was clear of vehicles. I can see in my mind's eye the image that I wanted to get. However, I am probably going to have to settle for this image since I am always on the way to somewhere else and often pressed for time when I pass by this spot.
Wikipedia
A drum is a cylindrical container used for shipping bulk goods. Drums can be made of steel, dense paperboard (Commonly called Fiber drums — See Footnote) or plastics, and are generally used for the transportation of certain dangerous materials or modest quantities of bulk goods. For caustic and acid materials, plastics, usually thermoplastics like Polyethylene, Nylon, Polystyrene, Polyvinyl chlorides (PVCs) or possibly Polycarbonates are the preferred shipping container; for flammable substances like most petroleum distillates, and alcohol, etc., metal containers are the standard. Which type is used for shipping non-corrosive industrial chemicals would depend on the chemicals or materials, but the general rule would be to use the container type that is inert or non-reactive with the material being shipped.

Container Ship full of goods that maybe should have been produced in North America. But that wouldn't be good for corporate profit now would it. Just sayin'.

Jars, tins, boxes, cans, bottles, canisters: we all have countless items designed by humans specifically for the purpose of holding other items.
CONTAINER
Looks like a defense line of containers. For the automated lifting by the refuse truck they have to be placed in the correct way all next to each other. When placed wrongly the containers won't be emptied.
