HOLO è un ensemble di laptop ispirato dagli studi di Konrad Lorenz sulla comunicazione nel mondo animale. L'ensemble non si avvale di alcuna direzione esterna, ogni componente del gruppo è coinvolto attivamente nella conduzione musicale delle performance formulando in tempo reale proposte sonore che possono essere accettate, imitate o contrastate dagli altri membri dell'ensemble.
Sulla base di questo continuo scambio di proposte e risposte, vengono prodotte forme musicali aperte in continua evoluzione, controllate da una mente collettiva, che produce suono e si costituisce attraverso il suono.
Clockwise from top: inner planet cage with sun pinions; hub shell; three-prong dog clutch; axle with pushrod and cross-pin in situ; clutch housing. The small ring in the centre is a ball race which fits on the shoulder of the axle (to the right of the cross-pin) and provides the bearing for the clutch mechanism on the underside of the planet cage. The larger ring to the right is the cover for the pawls, which are located in the top of the clutch housing. It is secured by the three longer screws in the tin-lid to the right. The six pawls are scattered in pairs about the centre of the picture - they are roughly keyhole-shaped.
The drawing below is from the original patent for the hub, the nearest I could get to any sort of guide, though some details are different.

Here is a variation swapping Kromethius components around to make another design.
Another original design where I started out with a central body flat base and added details as I went along ... building up layers and shapes with smaller additions using pinch and slide into place techniques and on the fly symmetric sculpting. This baby will be hard to duplicate and tear down since I didn't document the build steps as I went.

There isn't much about the Lammix and none on Huwood Components of St Peters Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Critical components of bioreactors are two water control structures. The structure at the inlet side (shown here) intercepts a field tile line to funnel the water through the bioreactor, and allow overflow to bypass the bioreactor when needed. The structure on the outlet side regulates water depth and length of time tile water stays in the bioreactor.
