VERNAZZA transportó una serie de componentes para una planta industrial a montarse en la mina Lama, ubicada en la provincia de san Juan.
Estos bultos de enorme magnitud fueron transportados combinando camiones tractores de gran poder de tracción junto a nuestras líneas modulares hidráulicas de 8 neumáticos cada una.
Más precisamente, cada convoy contó con una plataforma hidráulica de 6 líneas en total, es decir, con una suma de 48 neumáticos por cada remolque configurado.
Built myself a new computer, almost 10 years since I changed so I felt it was time now. This time I went with full AMD setup, also found a great chassi from Fractal Design to build on.
CPU here, one of the few components that haven't changed much installation-wise :)

The Optoelectronic Component and Materials Laboratories (or OCM Labs) is a collection of graduate students, post doctoral fellows, visiting scientists and research staff who are engaged in investigating an enormous variety of phenomena and devices related to electronic materials and optics. Some of the work involves the basic physics of new semiconductor and organic materials, some focuses on devices using these materials, and yet other work looks at the system impact of optical devices and structures. The unifying goal of our work is the realization of practical optoelectronic devices.

A reactive sculpture
but reactive to events out side of the Earths atmosphere.
As the lines of earths magnetic field, a protective blanket, twists and folds itself interacting with the suns solar wind this sculpture also twists and folds, its texture shifts as the the lines of magnetic force that surround the earth shift.
This sculpture takes the data from the ACE satellite in real time and imbues the sculpture with its form.
Every minute it reforms itself according to the strength and lines of magnetic force outside the earths atmosphere. Not only do the component parts flow with the lines of force but as the sculpture is updated each minute from the satellite the texture also flows through the body of the sculpts accentuating different parts.
Think about this
A sculpture that combines colour and form, a composite of the physical world and the virtual and moves as a reflection from one to the other.

Taken at Occupy Wall Street - And I thought I hated him, LEA16 (85, 94, 2571)

One of the most exciting components of A+ Partners in Education, Battle of the Books gets fifth grade students excited about reading. A lively academic competition, Battle of the Books improves reading comprehension, builds vocabulary, and teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. The 2015 competition runs concurrently at Howard, Mt. Hebron, Oakland Mills, River Hill and Wilde Lake high schools.
Teams of five students and one adult coach each read the same 16 pre-assigned books over four months. Selected by HCLS instructors and HCPSS media specialists, titles include a wide range of reading levels and subjects. Thanks to generous sponsors, all teams receive a set of books. In addition to reading the books, teams choose a team name then dress accordingly.
During the "battle" (a 50-question exam), a moderator asks questions that relate to one of the following: a direct quote from one of the book characters; a statement about something that happens in the book; a passage taken directly from the book; details about an illustration or picture. Winning teams receive prizes.

Three images used to create the previous HDR composite. Though exposure was bracketted there's only one stop between them, and overall they're underexposed - I could have done a better job of centering the exposure - being underexposed resulted in the final image being quite noisy. The blue colour cast is the result of a cheap neutral density filter. I can never get the horizon straight.
Los componentes utilizados son en su mayoria de montaje superficial, en la foto pueden apreciarse las resistencias las cuales tienen 3,2 x 1,6 mm. En el caso del circuito integrado que se ve a la derecha los terminales de conexion tienen 0,4 mm de ancho y estan espaciados 0,8 mm.

Em algum lugar, há um barracão com as luzes acesas, alegorias em fase de estruturação, uma ou outra em acabamento, alguém soldando, alguém grampeando, alguém esculpindo, alguém martelando, alguém colando, alguém cansado, pernoitado, deitado sobre sobras de tecido para tirar um cochilo.
Em algum lugar costureiras acabaram de fazer uma bainha, cortar uma bata, bordar uma gola, colocar um elástico, franzir uma manga, arrematar um corpete, dar acabamento com overloque.
Em algum lugar, praça ou fim de rua ao anoitecer, as baterias estão começando o ensaio, afinando os surdos e repiques e tamborins, preparando os chocalhos, atentos, todos os componentes., à marcação do mestre, aos seus sinais, ao seu apito.
E há os que rodeiam os percussionistas e há as que não resistem ao ritmo e bolam e rebolam, ondeando as cadeiras, balançando os seios, antecipando o momento de pisar na passarela.
Em algum lugar há a presença invisivel de uma possível festa popular, há um prenúncio de folia momesca. Posso estar tranquilo. A tradição está mantida, o passado é inspiração, as novas gerações garantem o presente e deixam exemplo para as que vierem sucedê-las.
