During the war, the British Army used two "machine carbines"; the Thompson - "Tommy Gun" and the Enfield designed and manufactured Sten Gun. Thus this training pamphlet covers both models.
The Sten gun was developed at Enfield to make up for the shortage of Thompson sub machine guns, which were also costly; a Thompson cost $200, the Sten $11. Early Stens were prone to stoppages, but the basic design meant that accidental discharges were frequent with careless handling throughout the weapon's service although in 1944 a safety modification was added to prevent as loaded weapon from discharging if dropped or jolted. This fault continued with its replacement in the 1950s, the Sterling sub machine gun, always referred to as "the SMG".

The electronics. On top of the Bel Canto PRe6 preamp is a Sony XA 777ES SACD player. Stacked on the Merlin processor in the middle are two bridged eVo2 amps driving the bass units. On the far right under the spectrum analyzer is another eVo2 driving the horns. Two Bel Canto DAC-1 processors on either side of the center stack assisted the Merlin with digital processing.

Development and manufacture of plastic components and subassemblies for automotive and household appliances
Component placing of a new detector system for the next 3D unit (2013) with 2 external fast 6 ms shutters. I would like to calculate the optimal position as well as the direction of flight. Detector calculation need to be super fast, into less then 50us. The readout of the 128 analog pixels from the sensor + high-speed ADC 8 bits convertion may take a max of 50 us, + 50 us for position-direction calculation (10.000 calculations per second). This is a start of my dream, the special components are just in order, planning delivery next Wednesday. Given the new components, the majority are implanted in SMD. This is an additional difficulty, only single-layer PCB is available at this moment. The line-sensor is true hole 14 pins version, all others are SMD. Next step is the layout, here I need to make some new shapes first!

Think it would be possible to change to a bearing in the end of the steering shaft. At the moment diameter is 0.4 mm to small....to fit the donator shaft - which includes adjustable steering wheel. Which would be nice to have then it is a big difference between us when we sits behind the steering wheel...
