The Taj Mahl "crown of palaces",is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage".
Taj Mahal is regarded by many as the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian and Indian architectural styles.
In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the white domed marble mausoleum is the most familiar component of the Taj Mahal, it is actually an integrated complex of structures. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen. The construction of the Taj Mahal was entrusted to a board of architects under imperial supervision, including Abd ul-Karim Ma'mur Khan, Makramat Khan, and Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer.

As with much of Oppenheim's earlier work, Trees: From Alternative Landscape Components act as a dialogue, this time between the natural and artificial landscape and as a comment on the act of creating environments.
The docklands has always been a major component of the Dublin’s history and development. Beginning with the Vikings and Norman settlers the docklands became quite a significant commerce and trading hub. Recently companies such as Google and Facebook have created tens of thousands of jobs and transformed the docklands into a bustling area. Only a short distance from the City Centre it has become home to numerous entertainment venues including music, theatre, opera, exhibitions and galleries. If you are feeling daring the docklands offers a variety of outdoor activities including kayaking and wake boarding. Dublin’s Docklands is sure to have something for everyone, why not make a day of it?

One from the final few days of last year with all 3 (at the time) remaining Belgian Air Component Sea Kings from 40 Squadron. Seen returning after the last 3 ship farewell tour. RS02 has since retired and the remaining RS04 and RS05 retiring by end of March. Long live the king!
With the KYLE RR getting screwed by the UP east of Salina, it was an easy choice for me when a local heading west on the old Kansas Pacific was leaving town. The chase was on. A nice trio of SD70s powered this local toward Ellis. The Kansas Pacific was an early component of the UP and built a line of track from Kansas City to Denver, completing that route in 1870.

Salida de un par de componentes del grupo para sacar ese óxido que hemos acumulado estos meses…
Localización cercana pero oscura dado que la luna todavía es un poquito fuerte para lo que queríamos hacer, para esta foto hemos usado Lumecube para el contra manejado desde el smartphone, linternas fénix con unas espadas caseras y una herramienta casera de led alargado para hacer trazos y letras.
Primero hemos hecho la esfera con la espada, después el contra, después el borde de la esfera y por último esos trazos laterales, como siempre digo es cuestión de coreografía….todo hecho a mano alzada. (Freehand)

In this shot of Copper Island, the cloud I saw from a distance plays a major part. As it was forming I raced to a familiar spot to catch it at just the right time. Copper Island is left as a silhouette, and makes the shot more about shapes than the nature it captures.
