Compilation of shots from Gloucester Docks - in Gloucester Docks Antiques Centre - most shot wide open on a hand held macro lens in poor interior light.
Not a typical panorama but I merged 20 close up photos of this flower pot into one. It is a Brenizer style panorama.

4 hours of walking covering the Southbank district and Brisbane City itself. This is a little project that I undertook yester day. The idea was to explore Brisbane City and near by areas compiling images of interesting things, landmakrs, architecture designs, back alleys and such. The end result is a collage showcasing the character of the city from the stylish and historic to the dark and sinister.
It may take a while to load but definitely check this out LARGE.
Compilation of the Cars & coffee winter edition event, organised by www.baanvelgen.com and www.autogespot Pictures by Thomas van Rooij
This format was inspired from Wil Freeborn. He's an artist I admire a lot and he has the habit of compiling all his spreads into one image when he's finished a moleskine sketchbook. I thought I'd do the same with my "micro drawings". These are the ones I'll be showing and selling at the art show.
I hope to produce another 20-25 images before friday. I doubt I'll be getting any sleep before that point.

Sketching in the public library yesterday afternoon, I discovered this view at a traffic-light through the windows. It supplied me with some perfect ‘models’, for a maximum time period of about one minute each – until the lights turned green. Here is a compilation.
This has been a rewarding journey of learning and enjoying creation during the 2022 Milky Way season. Although it's still viewable for another few weeks, I'm shifting my focus to deep sky objects and nebulae.

After a lifetime of using the X method of roasting chestnuts, this time I tried www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnthcUOQWTo - parboiling the halves for two minutes and then squeezing the meat out with a pliers (couldn't pass up the opportunity to mix the toolbox with the kitchen). It actually worked pretty well! Learn something new every day.
