The male wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) in our neighborhood rafter are starting to strut their stuff - getting ready for spring. There were five males all trying to catch the attention of a large group of hens.

That may seem a little cynical but the 1 from Broomhill to Cribbs was operated by a motley selection of older vehicles in 2014 such as elderly 32008 W808PAE, seen here passing the Wills Building in Clifton Triangle.
The following year, following incursions by Wessex, the service received a fleet of brand new e400mmc.
I had so much fun making this! The background shot is one taken with my Fuji Finepix F10 in its underwater casing. As are quite a few of the other fish that are staring alongside our competition sea horse!
Nothing in this world is equal or fair. This isn't a human problem. There is no equality or fairness in the natural world. We fool ourselves believing we can make everything good for everyone.
For the past four years, I have photographed the birds in my neighborhood. And created a year-end collage. We have a Neighbors Facebook page and this year, another resident has started the project as well. He is already ahead of me by the numbers! So it is going to be very fun.

Henderson, Hamilton ADL Enviro 200 MX10DXO and DA Coaches of Coatbridge Mercedes-Benz Vario O814/Alexander ALX100 X652WTN await at Monklands Hospital.
Henderson's provide an hourly service to Milngavie and an hourly short working to Cumbernauld within 30 mins of each other, with DA Coaches running 5 minutes in front of the Milngavie service. Henderson have been running five mins in front of the DA service anytime I have seen it, probably a duplicate (or the Henderson service running 20 mins late).
I was lucky to win both trophies at last night's camera club members competition "Coastline". Rock-Castle-Pool won best print, and Coastal-Sunset the best Projected Digital Image.
I think that this is the first time I have won a members night trophy in 3 years of entering these competitions (4 different ones per season), although I have won lots of other trophies.

Red Bull Battle of the Sund is an endurance kite-board competition spanning across the strait of Öresund.
These two goats butted heads after a brief disagreement over a piece of food. The action didn't seem too aggressive, but somehow it determined who was dominant. The encounter was over in a few seconds.
