I was literaly less than 2cm's (2/3rds inch) away from this ladybird, I'm not sure of the aspect ratio although I do know that with the 25mm extension tubes and the 14-45mm lens I was using, it's at least 1:1 if not greater. However, as this was shot at 40mm and not 25mm, it is, as SnowMonco writes, somewhat lower! Here you can read the specifications about the 14-45mm lens and the 25mm extension tubes, www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/E-1_dslr_EX-25_Compatibilities....

Yet another treat for you from Ebay, each camera body cost no more than £10.00 post and packing extra £3.00. Not bought in the same auction.

F60/N60

The new Nikon N55 and existing Canon Rebel 2000 are far superior cameras, at the same or lower price.

For instance, the obsolete Nikon N60 has only one focus sensor, has no compatibility with AF-S lenses, no depth-of-field preview and a slow motor drive. The new N65 has five useful AF sensors, works with AF-S lenses, has a 2.5 FPS motor drive and has a useful DOF preview button.

The old N60 has a heavy metal chassis and the new N65 is just plastic, however they both feel like throw-away cameras. The old N60 also has a 1/125 flash sync and the new N65 only 1/90, neither is very good.

Beware of dealers who are stuck with these obsolete but still new cameras in stock. Run out the door screaming if a dealer tries to unload one of his problems (unsold obsolete N60 cameras) on you.

Of course if you already have an N60 don't worry about it; it makes great pictures. The N60 does feel a little sturdier than the N65.

F65/N65

It is a great lightweight, inexpensive (about $300 US complete with a swell lens) plastic camera capable of fantastic results. It has the same technology as every other Nikon and gives the same quality images. That's right, if you are new to photography then you may not realize that the images made with this camera will be identical to those made with a $2,000 F5 that weighs a ton and sucks through mountains of batteries.

If you have some need to mess with every setting and adjustment you may get frustrated and want the N80 instead, but if it's great results you want and don't care about fiddling with settings then this is the way to go. I've learned that fiddling with settings actually leads to missing many great photos, so I always use the AF and program exposure modes. All the latest Nikon AF and exposure technology is in this camera. You have full manual control and control of most important things with this camera; you just can't always fiddle with the really complex things that no one understands anyway like dynamic autofocus tracking.

The only potential drawback is slow flash sync speed, however the N80 isn't much better so don't worry about it unless shooting action with fill flash in daylight is important to you. If this is important you have to go to the F100 or cheaper but obsolete N90s.

F75/N75

This is a swell plastic camera originally designed for people who had never used a camera before. If you're more serious by all means go for the slightly more expensive N80 which is more durable. The N75 offers most of the N80's features in a package with the same durability of the cheapest N55.

As of 2008, the N75 makes the best film backup camera I can imagine because it weighs nothing and has every feature I might want.

The N75 has full flash, VR, AF and AFS compatibility. If you're carrying it as a backup, you don't want any extra weight and you don't expect to need to use it, but you need full system comparability if your main body dies.

I purchased an obitsu 11 body for a hybrid test, after all, who doesn't want a more poseable nendoroid?

The good news: the scale is perfect, she looks perfectly scaled on the body, its not alien or weird at all!

The bad news: The neck needs modification. You can see that her neck part is just too small. The second bad news is that the head seems to be too heavy, but that might be because the head isn't secure or the hair part is too heavy.

Al in all I'm looking forward to modding this body to be compatible with nendoroids!

Vedic Astrology Horoscope has a method of providing a fairly good indication of compatibility based on nakshatras (Lunar Constellations) of prospective husband and wife. It assigns points (guna) for factors that influence marriage. Although, neither this site, nor the whole process is the final say on compatibility issues (guna milap), it can be a good starting point. Apart from determining the number of Gunas that match in the two horoscopes, there are other factors that should be taken into consideration: longevity, health, wealth, children.

Testing one, two and now, three.

Radio frequency testing has begun on the first Orion spacecraft that will fly around the Moon for the Artemis 1 mission, just two weeks after thermal and environmental tests were completed at NASA’s Plum Brook Station in Ohio, USA.

Electromagnetic compatibility or EMC testing is routine for spacecraft. All electronics emit some form of electromagnetic waves that can cause interference with other devices. Think of the buzz that speakers give out right before an incoming call on a mobile phone.

Spacecraft electronics can cause similar interference, but out in space such interference can have disastrous consequences, so all systems must be checked before launch.

EMC tests often take place in a special shielded room constructed of metal walls and doors and foamy spikes (aka absorbers) that block out unwanted external electromagnetic radiation, like ESA’s Maxwell chamber at its technical site in the Netherlands.

Though not an EMC chamber, Plum Brook’s thermal vacuum chamber is made of aluminium that does provide electromagnetic shielding, making it a suitable substitute.

To test electronics, the spacecraft will simulate a flight in realistic conditions with most of its subsystems and equipment powered and in operational mode.

The electronics are first tested for compatibility in this electromagnetic shielded chamber. Equipment will be switched on to test whether they do potentially disturb one another.

In the second round of tests, electromagnetic fields will be applied using antennas around the spacecraft to test the susceptibility to interference from external sources. The Orion capsule is equipped with electromagnetic field sensors to take measurements as the disturbance frequencies are injected into the chamber.

While all subsystems are a potential source of radio frequency noise, of particular interest are the transmitters that intentionally generate radio frequencies. These can easily disturb other equipment sensitive to electromagnetic noise, like GPS receivers, tele-command modules and other communication elements.

ESA experts are on site monitoring all tests alongside NASA colleagues as Orion moves closer to its first flight without a crew around the Moon.

This is the other end of set no 26 at Golders Green. The driver has switched out the single tungsten 'headlight' and switched on the tail light (has the left-hand one failed?) but has not changed the destination plate. As this was taken in the evening I suspect this set's next move will be to the adjacent depot.

This unit, with a rather battered-looking cab front, was last overhauled in October 1970 by the look of it. Note the unit end is labelled as 'A'. The one at the other end is labelled 'D'. This is a reflection of coupling compatibility: you could only couple an 'A end' car to a 'D end' one.

Fog shrouded the hills near the Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden on the morning of August 10, 2015. This early morning Flight Compatibility Test on the balloon launch pad preceded the successful BARREL balloon launch in clear weather later that afternoon.

The NASA-funded BARREL – which stands for Balloon Array for Radiation-belt Relativistic Electron Losses – measures electrons in the atmosphere near the poles. Such electrons rain down into the atmosphere from two giant radiation belts surrounding Earth, called the Van Allen belts. For its third campaign, BARREL is launching six balloons from the Esrange Space Center. BARREL is led by Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Flickr Faves Compatibility Index - The StatBot - Fun stats. Visualizations. Leaderboards.

Yuvi Sense, who is doing some of the best statistical analysis with APIs on the internet today, has a new post out on something he is calling the Flickr Faves Compatibility Index -- it's awesome for the stats junkie like me.

He got the idea for it from Hutch Carpenter who did a similar project with FriendFeed.

Basically Yuvi's Flickr Faves Compatibility Index analyzes all of your faves to show you the top 25 people who have faved the same photos as you have. If you'd like to have your faves analyzed be sure to drop Yuvi a line in the comments on his thread post as it looks like he's willing to do this analysis for others as well.

I've also asked Yuvi to look at who the top 100 people are that I've faved photos from their stream and who the top 100 people are who have faved my photos. He is going to work on this as well when he's got some more time.

This is interesting analysis that would be great to see included in Flickr's default stats section on their site.

By pointing out people on Flickr whose taste is similar to your own, Flickr might better suggest photographers that you'd be interested in following on the site.

I favorite *alot* of photos on Flickr. The screenshot above are the most recent 36 shots I've faved on Flickr, but I've faved almost 40,000 photos in the 3 and a half years I've been active on the site. Mostly I'm getting my faves these days from FriendFeed. You can see all of my favorites on Flickr here.

Celebrating the arrival of spring here in town, I decided to do this project. I used a branded purse which had some colors matching with spring blossoms. The inspiration came from my frequent looking at fashion magazines. It was cloudy which offered white soft light. But the rain was challenging as it left some of my equipment wet. It took me about three hours for both setup and shooting. Finding a good looking tree was my first barrier. I stopped by the engineering campus at my university, it has more open areas compare to the main and medical campuses.

NOTE: The photos shown on this clip didn't undergo any Photoshop.

Hello!

This is the compatibility information for Volks and Dollits. !! ^^

Neck circumference seems to be similar.

The circumference of the DKD girl's body's neck is 6.95cm.

Volks' Pure MSD boys seem to have a good connection with the head.

But ... the head looks too big .. ㅠ

It's a big face because it's a doll that was released a long time ago.

Recently Volks msd boy's head has become smaller.

On the contrary, the face looks small when you combine Volks body + Dollits DKD girl heads.

But it looks good when I wear clothes. ^^

[Dollits DKD girl Body] + [Volks MSD head] I wonder what it would look like when it wore clothes

The Volks Doll has been around for a long time. So the skin color comparison is meaningless.

And Dollits DKD Girl Body is before pelvic joint correction.

My normal workday takes place right here! This is a fully Windows Vista set-up and stability is rock solid and compatibility is pretty good.

2016 has been the year of “plus”–nearly every mountain bike manufacturer in the world has released a skinny-fat offering in its lineup. And while this new category of 3-inch-wide tires still needs to figure itself out, I can at least feel confident in saying that it’s great for trail hardtails.

Read more at www.bikemag.com/gear/bikes/trail-bikes-gear/jamis-dragons...

The Jamis Dragonslayer is the company’s latest addition to its line of steel hardtails, and it’s built for capability, durability and flexibility. Its 4130 chromoly tubing is triple butted for weight reduction and ride feel, and the frame features sliding dropouts for singlespeed compatibility. Since it is an obvious choice for bikepacking, it’s outfitted with rack mounts and a 3-hole bottle mount, and the traditional double triangle design means it’ll fit a large frame bag.

As for geometry, some of the Dragonslayer’s numbers are right where you’d expect them for a modern trail bike designed around a 120-mil fork, with 68- and 73-degree head and seat angles respectively and 17.2-inch chainstays. But the 19-inch size sports a 16.7-inch reach coupled with stock Ritchey Trail 720-mil bars and 80-mil stem, which could be considered conservative these days. The Dragonslayer might be perfect for riders not interested in running crazy short stems on super long frames, which is the way mountain bike fit is trending.

The 3-inch “plus-size” Vittoria Bomboloni tires mounted on WTB i45 TCS 27.5 rims provide oodles of traction in places where you’d expect none–a huge asset on the marbles-over-hardpack conditions at Bootleg canyon. They also grant an impressive amount of floatation in sand without feeling sluggish like a fatbike. They seemed pretty tough, too. I bottomed the tires hard enough to dent the rim at one point, without flatting or burping–and they survived the sharp, rocky terrain of Bootleg Canyon, which is a feat in and of itself.

Overall, I had an enlightening and fun ride on the Dragonslayer. Each slippery corner and technical climb came and went with increasing ease, and with surprisingly little compromise. And with a $2,700 price tag, it’s a bargain, too.

2017 Jamis Dragonslayer 27.5+

The good old steel hardtail receives a technology injection

April 18, 2015 By Ryan Palmer

PO-ST HORIZONTAL SOCIAL SHARING BUTTONS

The 2017 Jamis Dragonslayer–a plus-size version of the company’s popular Dragon steel hardtail–will be hitting the trails later this summer with a whole lot of extra grip. Plus-size seems to be the theme here at his year’s Sea Otter Classic, with many of the top mountain bike manufacturers showing off their baby fat offerings for the first time. So why does everyone seem to be slapping 3-inch tires on bikes all at once? Boost 148, which made its debut on Trek’s Remedy 29 last year, was designed to create a stiffer, stronger 29-inch wheel–but it opened up a Pandora’s box of new bike design. The wider rear-end required bringing the chainrings out by a few millimeters, which gave bike designers much more real estate to play with. So people got creative, and tires and forks became available. All of a sudden, a new category was born.

2017 JAMIS DRAGONSLAYER |

It turns out that 3-inch tires are bringing forth the rebirth of the hardtail, and with it, a whole new beginning of mountain biking. When people started riding off-road, it was purely for fun. Since then, we somehow let things get serious on us. What better way to get back to our mountain biking roots than with a steel hardtail? With trail geometry and the added grip and confidence that plus-size tires bring to the table, we imagine the Dragonslayer will be a full-on grin machine. You can be sure that we’ll be throwing a leg over one when it becomes available later this year.

The Dragonslayer uses a now relatively narrow 73-millimeter standard English-threaded bottom bracket shell, so serious shaping is needed to get that wide, Boost 148 rear-end attached to the shell. It looks like Jamis was proud enough of its sleek chainstay yoke to slap some 3D branding on it. As you can see, tire clearance won’t be a problem on the Dragonslayer. The bike comes stock with the Vittoria Bombolini 27.5×3.0-inch tires pictured, with plenty of room for the wheel to come forward in the Dragon’s horizontal drops. Its 17.1-inch chainstays should be stubby enough for most riders as well.

The Dragonslayer comes spec’d with solid parts all around. Shimano supplies the brakes and drivetrain with a mix of Deore and SLX, while the bike rolls on WTB Scraper i45 rims.

Shimano is supporting Boost 148 now too, even though it was born from a Trek and SRAM partnership. This is good for everyone because for the price, you can’t beat the shift performance of Shimano’s mid-range groups.

Though its name hints at the bike’s trail-destroying nature, Jamis equips the Dragonslayer for the long slog too–rack mounts are provided for the adventurer in all of us.
