Here's the comparison shot. It's so funny that Ddungs seem like they're going to be teeny tiny, but they have a big ol nog just like Blythe. Shorter, chubbier bod, but cute big noggin.
The dry air is even affecting April's hair. Arrugh!

I just got a Rokinon fisheye for my D3000. For the price, it's actually a very nice lens and I'm very impressed with the quality of the build. This is simply to show how much distortion is achieved with the lens. Like with my other comparison, I didn't move the camera, I just swiched out one lens for the other.
And for those wondering, these are little figures cut out of paper and folded together, no glue or tape required. It's Luigi with his buddies Megaman and Space Ghost.
As I was going through my photos I wanted to post I noticed some pictures that were very similar though taken in completely different countries. One in Costa Rica one in Minnesota USA. Just for fun. this first one is of a Juvenile Resplendent Quetzal
A comparison of the WhiBal card with the Daylight and Auto white balance settings in Lightroom 3 Beta. Daylight is very close, but like many of the 'daylight' shots I've taken in fall and winter, it looks subtly off to me. Auto WB is way off. The WhiBal card looks the most natural. It's worth pointing out that the foreground twig blurs out in front of the robin's shoulder and wing, coloring those feathers.

"My Life Living Room Play Set" size comparison to 1/6 dolls!
When I was in Walmart I saw two colour variations for this set. One had pink pillows & a pink lamp, and the other had blue. In the Pink Colour Variation of this set, the ottoman, tray, lamp and phone stand are also coloured different, but the couch colour is the same in both.
Depending on the leg length for some 1/6 dolls, the couches are a little deep, but leaning them against one of the pillows works well for that.
Overall I really love this set, and I think it's scaled nicely to 1/6 dolls. Any dolls or figures ranging from 11 to 14 inches would look really good with this set! I also love that the colours are neutral, and would work with virtually any doll or colour scheme.
I think the ottoman is the only item in this set that's over-scaled next to 1/6 dolls, but it still makes for a good prop :D
I forgot to photograph my Shibajuku dolls with this, but they're nearly as tall as Taeyang, so it would work with them, too.
I'll post some comparison pics with the "saucer chair" next. There's also a "My Life" dining set I'm eyeballing. I just might get it, too! XD

All paper shot at (about) ISO 3 with a Packard shutter, developed in paRodinal 1+50 for 3 minutes, scanned and inverted in Photoshop, then exported through Lightroom after B&W conversion and dust spotting.

Comparisons, there are a lot of differences as you can see, first (not the actual but an earlier release closer to the original, plus I got her first) has a different pattern on her top different jewellery details and stockings, second has different shoes no stockings different top pattern and details, seconds hair looks a lot longer and has more colour in it, also first is not taller just the way she is standing lol.
Both photos were taken with Polaroid 600s on Impossible Project First Flush. The lefthand photo was taken on my Spirit 600 (before the killer crystal issue became known), the righthand photo on my Sun 650, with built-in closeup filter. The difference is that I stored my Polaroid in an insulated bag with ice packs before shooting the righthand image. The righthand image was also developed in the cooler bag, away from the light. What a difference…
I'm working on a new editing style. Trying to make it more effective and vibrant while maintaining a "non-edited" look.
I'm open to thoughts.
