i took the same shot with Ian/Spirit 57's olympus E-500..using his wide angle lens and although i think this is pretty good for a point and shoot it doesn't come close to the dslr version:

I just got a Rokinon fisheye for my D3000. For the price, it's actually a very nice lens and I'm very impressed with the quality of the build. This is simply to show how much distortion is achieved with the lens. Like with my other comparison, I didn't move the camera, I just swiched out one lens for the other.
And for those wondering, these are little figures cut out of paper and folded together, no glue or tape required. It's Luigi with his buddies Megaman and Space Ghost.
A comparison of the WhiBal card with the Daylight and Auto white balance settings in Lightroom 3 Beta. Daylight is very close, but like many of the 'daylight' shots I've taken in fall and winter, it looks subtly off to me. Auto WB is way off. The WhiBal card looks the most natural. It's worth pointing out that the foreground twig blurs out in front of the robin's shoulder and wing, coloring those feathers.

Anyway .. the new skin from Pink Fuel came out today and some people were asking how it differs from Elly and were also wondering about the eye crease option that is mentioned but not in the demos so I thought I'd post some comparisons.
On the left is Elly in the Honey tone and Pure makeup, In the Center is Kumi in the Peach tone and Pure makeup, and on the right is Kumi in the Peach tone and Pure makeup with the eye crease. :)
