The first one is her spare outfit. It's an all-in-one dress. It's my favourite one, because the colour makes her eyes stand out.

The second is most of the outfit she was originally wearing. While it looks like a skirt and top, it's actually a dress.

The third is just the second outfit with her cardigan on, which she wears in the box. I felt sorry for her wearing it, because we're in the middle of a heat wave right now in UK :(

I just tried three 'normal' lenses on my Sony A6000 via an adapter, a late 1940s Zeiss Tessar 50mm f2.8, a Soviet-era Helios 44-2 58mm f2, and a 1970s Nikkor AI 50mm f1.4.

(l to r) 1st Issue, 2nd Issue (with dog), Moonlight Dance. Hard to say who I like best: I like the eye make-up on left, the lips of the middle one, the eyebrow SHAPE of the middle one but the eyebrow coloring of the one on the right. I guess overall the middle wins, though. So, who's your fav?

Gah, I just noticed Target.com has "It's My Nature" Katie in stock. Sooooo tempting, but I think I'll wait.

(l to r) 1st Issue, 2nd Issue (with dog), Moonlight Dance. The one on the right wins for me, but who's your fav?

A comparison of the popular "current" 1/72 Tomcat models to look at shape etc. Academy still seems to be the best.

Thanks for showing me icAgrenade! Although partial credit goes to JSlegomaster

A comparison shot of two ladies bicycles , one in Brisbane and the other in London . Why bicycles , no particular reason , just because they were there and caught my eye . Its pure coincidence that they are women's bikes , they are both facing in the same direction , both have carrying baskets attached , ( a main feature that caused this comparison in the first place ) , and both are leaning against a metal railing . Interesting again , the above is in front of a vehicular ramp leading below ground level and the English bike is in front of stairs that lead to a traditional below ground level basement area , again pure coincidence but a fact worth noting . Their presentation and colouring I find interesting , thats not to say they don't have red bicycles in London and grey ones in Brisbane … Even the weather under which these shots were taken says something , the above in strong sunshine and the English shot in more subdued light , indicative of that locations weather , again pure coincidence on the day ..

Knee bent.

Narae: barely 90 degrees, but look at that toe point!

Withdoll: 90 degrees

MNF: about 45 degrees

DOC: between 90 & 45 degrees +amazing ankle movement

Here's the apples to apples shot. Some bits work better than others, but I'm 85% happy with it overall. For the aging on top, I stayed away from making it all black because it made the side view look odd with the black on top. I tried making only the dynamic area black, but it was too harsh a contrast between the dark bley, grey and red bits. I figure this one will be a work in progress for a while.

It's no secret that I do not like the torso joint under the chest. Because WTF the human torso does not bend under the chest; it looks dumb.

Narae: very good

Withdoll: not possible with tight stringing, needs to reach the locking mechanism

MNF: good movement (but the placement....)

DOC: okay

Always wanted to see these two together. Not the best lighting, but I love the chance to get these shots!! There is always time to improve.

Thought I'd take this photo, before shaking them away, to show the size differential between the pocket & regular sized etchasketches. These are the 2 etchasketches I use ~ once they're photographed, I shake shake, & the artwork remains in digital form only!

On to the next!

A comparison pic of London next to Ender. The size difference is ridiculous xD London looks like he just woke up...

I personally prefer London's size, tbh. He's not too big, not too small, and he looks mature. Just perfect~

A macro comparison of five types of pistol ammunition, sorted from left to right by case length, with the largest first.

From left: .357 Magnum (Winchester Super-X 125gr JHP), .38 Special (American Eagle 158gr LRN), .357SIG (Sellier & Bellot 140gr FMJ), 9mm Luger (GECO 124gr FMJ) and .22 Long Rifle (CCI Standard Velocity 40gr LRN).

Important note:

I am licensed to possess and use this ammunition.

Here’s some comparison photos of the new Curvy MTM body next to some other dolls. She’s shorter than the Collectors Curvy body and is closer to the Fashionista Curvy but her limbs are slightly thicker.

She has almost the same poseability as an Original MTM body but due to her thicker body type it ALMOST does the same things anyway. Her ankles are as floppy as original MTM so bleh.

Surprisingly her wrists are compatible with Original MTM, which means it’s compatible with older jointed Barbie dolls with vinyl arms AND DC Super Hero Girl hands.

Her ankles though are completely different so if you were hoping to give her smaller feet you’ll need to mod the doll a lot.

Her skin tone is ALMOST Tropic Tan/Nikki but it’s slightly too pink and light. Still darker than other Caucasian skin tones though.

Here's more comparisons from my bjdpifa order.

Hands from bjdpifa / Steven/Luo / legit.

Magnet shows most in the recasts by Steven and Luo. However, looking at the walls of each hand (where the magnet goes) none look significantly thinner than any other.

If you're interested in ordering from bjdpifa, at this time, the best way to do it is to use an agent. It's not hard, and I've written up a tutorial to get you started. This will work for other things too, so in one order, you can order from bjdpifa and many other places all in one shot. Ordering from Taobao - bjdpifa example

Best seen on black (by pressing L) to have a larger view!

Aconsejo ver la fotografia, con el fondo negro, es como mejor se aprecia la calidad.

Side by side comparisons of the first and second versions of the Limited Edition Moana 16 inch dolls. They are both fully deboxed. They are shown both with and without their oars, and both standing and laying down. I have left out the first Moana's Pua and Hei Hei sidekick figures, as I just wanted to compare the dolls themselves.

I'm quite pleased with how the new Charcoal color came out...it's a little darker than the Steel but a little shinier than the black.

Still more announcements coming later...

Shot with my Hasselblad 500 cm on Ilford fp4

What a difference just a couple of weeks makes! My zucchini and sugar pumpkins have trippled in size. The bush beans have little flower buds on them and my jalapeño has multiple little peppers growing on it. So, so exciting!!

Size Comparisons to MH Gooliope and Frightfully Tall Clawdeen, she is bigger as I imagined she would be so cloths probably won't fit.

from left to right: Little Monica Little Harmony, Minifee and D-storic Narae.

All three is normal skin, Narae is Normal yellow, I think, tho compare to the other two it's so pale, maybe it's white? Though I never seen D-storic white, so not sure. Anyone can confirm?

Ok i am getting a few questions of the big stopper. I have put together a rough shabby guide so i apologise for its appearance.

There are three images all shot at f13 using the big stopper using ISO (or ASA) speed to alter the exposure duration. You will see the effect that using a dark 10 stop filter will have as you expand the shutter range. The example is poor but as i have no use for the images i thought i might as well use them for something.

The white smears in the lake are swans.

Oh and please excuse the sensor dust :)

On a side note i would like to know if people think i should better organise my sets? Should i have organised sets top 10's or 100's etc.

Anyway feedback always appreciated, hope you find the comparison useful.

Resin comparison of my brown dolls plus a WS and NS doll for comparison.

Simple comparison shot of the Sunstar diecast RM and its Revell plastic counterpart. Not a lot to choose between really in terms of quality of detail, but the difference in effort is significant!

The Revell kit is by far the more user friendly option of the two with the Sunstar being a pig to dismantle and reassemble. The kit is also considerably cheaper (depending on where you look), but I was fortunate to get the Sunstar at a very competitive rate, making it worth while doing.

But the two sit very nicely alongside each other.
