There has been a planning application put in to demolish the current site to replace with a more modern service station/convenience store

Chestnut has been a staple food in southern Europe, Turkey, and southwestern and eastern Asia for millennia, largely replacing cereals where these would not grow well, if at all, in mountainous Mediterranean areas.Evidence of its cultivation by man is found since around 2000 BC. Alexander the Great and the Romans planted chestnut trees across Europe while on their various campaigns. A Greek army is said to have survived their retreat from Asia in 401–399 BC thanks to their stores of chestnuts.Ancient Greeks, such as Dioscorides and Galen, wrote of chestnuts to comment on their medicinal properties. In Portugal's archipelago of Madeira, chestnut liquor is a traditional beverage, and it is gaining popularity with the tourists and in continental Portugal. American Indians were eating the American chestnut, long before European immigrants introduced their stock to America. In some places, such as the Appalachian Mountains, one-quarter of hardwoods were chestnuts, for three centuries, most barns and homes east of the Mississippi River were made from it.
Even though I've only been on here a few months, I've done some deals with a few of you. I'm a teacher and high school wrestling coach. It started out as me trying to get rid of a few pairs of old shoes but has become a little more than that. Comment if we've done a deal. Thanks.

Jeans and a t-shirt. This sort of thing will be my everyday look pretty soon. Easy and comfortable and quick, it's a win win win!
See comments for suggested species. Not a great piccie but the only one I could quickly snap before it scuttled under the leaf.

Having missed our annual weekend in Newcastle last year we were really looking forward to it this time round, and it didn't disappoint!
Friday night we met up with two friend we hadn't seen in a long while.
Steph came with us to Eazy Street bar first off, then on to The Stand comedy club for a night of stand-up comedy which she really enjoyed - something she had not done before in female mode so it was a new experience for her, and a very enjoyable night for us all. I do love a bit of live comedy.
After the comedy we went on to our favourite Newcastle venue, Rusty's where Fiona came to meet us too. Was a fantastic evening, and so lovely to catch up with two dear friends.
My original choice for the evening but I just wasn't happy with it so I changed my mind.

Another night where it seems I was very camera shutter-happy! I already have this Quiz dress in an off-the-shoulder style but it came up cheap on eBay in the short sleeved style and so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and buy it.
Comments and constructive criticisms are always welcome, and thanks for visiting.

Gemma and I went away to Birmingham for a fantastic weekend, taking in a trip to the theatre to see the excellent Kinky Boots on the Friday night, followed by Birmingham Belles - a regular trans event in Birmingham.
Pictures from the Friday.
At the Hippodrome to see the brilliant Kinky Boots. I love this picture of the four of us - Trisha, Jenny, me and Gemma.
