Another glam night in at home. Well, in the absence of anything else these days, why not?
This dress has rapidly turned into one of my favourites - I love it!
However you are planning to spend it, I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

This is a great rotisserie and I guess the owner was expecting a large crowd of people who wanted chicken.
After resting and eating we then started on another walk in the park.

Croatia's first National park (Plitvice Lake) established in 1949 covers 296.85 km2 of breathtaking natural splendor. The park was inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1979, in recognition of its "outstanding natural beauty and undisturbed production of travertine (tufa) through chemical and biological action". The park represents a phenomenon of karst hydrography.
The park harbours a grand collection of waterfalls, gallery of lakes, forest and diversity of animal life. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight. The sixteen lakes which are formed by natural dams of travertine are separated into upper and lower lakes. About eight km of pathways and wooden walking trails around lakes are accessible to visitors. Trails are descending from an altitude of 636m to 503m above sea level.
comment! love to hear from ya :)
Part of my Plants & Such Set - contains a few Time Lapse Videos too, come check it outs!
(if you're looking at this on fbook, you have to follow the link because it's a video....)
I've admittedly become not as interested in random time lapses as I was a year or two ago, but still enjoy small things here and there for sure. I've got loads of short sequences on my computer from the past couple years, but figured I'd post something recent. Took this last night while I was planting some prickly pear seeds and potting my new eggplant, tomato, & pepper plants.
The work I've done getting my yard out of complete disrepair has been fun and documenting little things along the road is a fun way to keep track of my progress and the steps it's taken to get to where I'm at.
Didn't take time to really edit the video much for flickr's 90 second requirement. Just kinda cut it short enough to fit. There is a bit of flickering, I've figured caused by the clouds against the moon because the camera was on manual settings. Sometimes you can only do so much :)

We had our annual September visit to Newcastle and had an amazing time once again! I just love that city, the people are so friendly and welcoming.
Day 2 we went for food at TGIs then on to Sgt Peppers and finally ended up in Rusty's where we met loads of lovely people as we always seem to do.
Gemma had a huge cocktail in TGIs!
