Medieval Collection:
Right behind our love of machines is a deep rooted love of knights and knight paraphernalia. I mean, come on, who ever has seen the likes of the craft that went into weapons of war. Do you think that as they fought each other they thought, “Wow Sir Trinimus has some seriously hot fleur de lys on that armor. I wonder who his metal smith is.” That’s what we would be thinking.

This is the black neckholder fashion. It was initially designed for the Curvy Barbie, but - how great is that? - it fits nicely on Poppy Parker, NuFace and Fashion Royalty dolls, too!

We visited a cranberry bog south of South Haven in order to watch the harvest. Some cranberries are dry-picked, but some are harvested by flooding the bog and then essentially scraping them off of the vines. The cranberries float because they are hollow in the center.
Here workers drag floats across the bog to collect the berries.

The Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house in Manchester Square near Oxford Street. I took a number of photographs and details of many of the 17th-19th century paintings. The museum allows hand held photographs without a flash, in many places low light prevailed, so my photos are not sharp and serve as a personal reminder of this magnificent collection.
This image has been scanned from a photograph in the Morpeth Museum Collection, who have kindly given Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia, access to the collection and allowed us to publish the images. The photographers are numerous and many of the imaged donated by the community.
