The Wallace Collection is a national museum that displays the art collections brought together by the first four marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the likely illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess. It was bequeathed to the British nation by Lady Wallace, Sir Richard’s widow, in 1897.
It is displayed at Hertford House, formerly the principal London residence of the marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace. It was opened to the public as a museum in 1900.

"We're organising a food collection for the young migrants who we have been welcoming here for some months.
Pasta, rice, couscous, tinned vegetables, tomato purée, milk, jam and oil will all be greatly appreciated.
We thank you very much for your generous support."
I was greatly impressed.
St Machar's Cathedral, Aberdeen
Aberdeen's medieval cathedral, commonly known as Old Machar but more properly the High Kirk of Aberdeen since the Reformation. It is no longer a cathedral because the Church of Scotland doesn't have bishops. The setting is in Old Aberdeen, a mile or two to the north of the present city centre, which became part of the city in the 19th Century, and is home to Kings College which is now part of the University of Aberdeen. Much of the old town is preserved.
The church is just the surviving nave and aisles of what was a much larger cruciform building with a central tower. Begun in the 14th Century, though mostly of the 15th Century, the medieval star of the show is the early 16th Century roof. Perhaps the most striking feature today though is the excellent collection of 20th Century glass by William Wilson, Marjorie Kemp, Margaret Chilton and Douglas Strachan.
A collection i created for my FMP at foundation.
Inspired by the words of Shakespeare. Using six plays as my starting point for inspiration (Coriolanus, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Antony and Cleopatra) I took inspiration from historical dress and architecture. Researching into one of my favourite time periods; Queen Elizabeth I’s Golden Age.
