The north wind was blowing, and it was double overcoat weather. The crystal clear sky and blazing sun are the sort of conditions that only happen in subzero temperatures. The ducks drew my attention, still upending in the cold, cold water for food. I guess they have no alternative.
This was in the cold last weekend on a short walk round my local reservoir. This poor chap was obviously hungry and cold as he kept fluttering up in front of me.
Nest time I'll make sure I have some grated cheese so as not to disappoint him.

So this is the first time I've updated in a REALLY long time. I'm really sorry for my lack-of photos. Juggling school, a boyfriend, and (now) a job, doesn't give me too much free time anymore. But hopefully I can open up some time for this... Or, just carry around my camera with me EVERYWHERE I go (:
Thanksgiving today was fabulous. I hope you and your families also had a great and safe one. Spent most of the day up in Big Bear, then ended the night playing cards with Danny and his family.
I am so thankful and blessed to have two wonderful families.
Tell me about your Thanksgiving, or tell me what you are thankful for! (:
